We’ve been constantly patrolling our servers, and when the ACP and RG meet up, it always ends with the RG running around a room and then switching to another room. Let’s go to war with them to get them out of our way.

At the meeting, we discussed a plan of compromise between the Nachos and MCP, however MCP has dropped the server and didn’t attend the meeting, so it was decided that the Nachos could have it without conflict.

Boomer:  It was great to actually get to know you the past few months.  It’s interesting how I had been doing research into who among the ACP soldiers before me deserved to be in the ACP Hall of Fame, and I wasn’t sure whether or not to add you because your rank was lower than most of those in the Hall.  I decided to keep you in, and that same day, you searched your name and was linked to that page.  I’m glad I left you in there!  You have been a great asset to this army, as well as a great friend, and I wish you the best of luck with you life.

Shab: Didn’t really get to know you personaly but you were a great active soldier. Have fun in the real world 😉

The meeting will be tomorrow (Wednesday), and all major armies (ACP, Nachos, RPF, UMA, IW, WW) and MCP are invited to help us work through this.  Why?

Because ACP has pledged “If any of our allies are at war, we will do our best to help them, depending on the circumstances. If the war is between two allies, we will try to stop the conflict with diplomacy.”  Key word – diplomacy.

As a last note, I am tired of people thinking that we are going to war over every little thing…

I’ll make it clear now, ACP WILL NOT be fighting in this war.  Everyone is already making plans to stop us from invading the Nachos or something ridiculous.  The Nachos are our allies!  Why would we fight them?  Over something that doesn’t concern us at all.  All I am doing is playing the role of the United Nations when Russia invaded Georgia.  The difference is, that was an international crisis, and the same principle idea is at play here, yet it doesn’t seem to matter because no one wants to do anything about it.  We may not have the Alliance, but that doesn’t mean we can be civilized about all this.

We will not be fighting, but that’s not to say we won’t do what is right by trying to work things out…

Jedimaster17: You know, what strikes me is the blant hypocrisy of the situation. Everyone despised  the SSACP, (and I didn’t support them either),  for trying to take back a historic server, but hey, when Nachos want to take back a server that’s claimed, by a smaller army, who has strong grounds for belonging there, morally, I’d go with the smaller army. I’d happily bet that everyone would turn against the ACP, if we’d try anything similar, (not that we would), we’d get blasted.  No, we don’t support this because we don’t want Nachos to have more servers, they have a perfectly legitamate right, its that the server was already claimed,  and I, personally would like Nachos to remain our allies, and I agree with Boomers neutrality policy. I understand the Nachos land grant idea, and perhaps that’d work out, I’ve not enough info upon this to give judgement. I suggest that the MCP and Nachos have a meeting.

Boomer: I agree, people do like wars, but based on the fact that Person and probably all the Nachos are mad at me for standing up for a small army, I don’t want to start a war over this.  That is why I am trying to get this settled without a war, because although war is fun, prolonged war only makes doing the simplest things in an army difficult because there is no time for anything else.  There is still a bunch of stuff we need to get going, starting with the Brigades and Flag Contest, that we wouldn’t be able to do with a war on our hands.  Not to mention that the Nachos are our allies, and I would prefer to keep it that way.

Shab: I don’t care if MCP gets their server back or not. I guess my reason for war is to have fun without scheduling and stuff. Whoever wins the most wars in 1 month wins. Battles aren’t scheduled but only count when there is enought soldiers at the battle that would count as a small army (about 10 or 15 soldiers atleast).

Aber: Go ahead, go to war, but i am not going to. Acp has no right to interfer with every war that comes up. And if this causes war with nachos? Don’t blame me and the ppl who support me.

Shab: What happened to the days of the 3 month wars for no reason, the random alliances, the fun? Now its all about server limits and gov jobs that do nothing. Its a game, live a little. When oagal and zippy and pink/comp left their successors were more conservative. It got worse when uma and acp stopped fighting and rpf fell. You guys said you hated that while I was leader I declared war more easily than most leader but I bet you secretly loved the chance for war.

I joined Acp in Jan of 08. Until march Acp was in war against Uma. Every day we fought, learning tactics from different people, having fun, and not needing practice wars or even scheduled wars. I support a war against nachos not to give mcp their server but show that we don’t need governments for cp armies and we don’t need reasons to have fun. I bet the gov page jedi set up was more work than it was actually worth.

If you wanna have fun pick an army and go to war with them for a month with no scheduled battles. Try to pick an army equal to your size and don’t make it easy by ganging up on an army. Forget these crap ideas like “fun war for the hippies” and just have fun.

Boomer: I know this is really long, and I just want to say one thing.  Person, the Nachos are a really large, and fortunate army.  MCP is just trying to establish itself.  At this point, losing their capital will destroy them.  You guys don’t really need Fjord, and I don’t even believe you need any more servers at all, but you are welcome to as many as you like.  SSACP gave up Mittens because UMA already owned it and I intervened in the war to say that.  I was the one who tried to talk Maz out of that anyway because I knew what we were doing was wrong.  All of you felt it was wrong too.  But suddenly it’s okay to go ahead and steal another army’s server.  The only thing that changed between the SSACP situation and this one is the size of the army who owns the server.  You say you aren’t taking advantage them because they are smaller than you, but I can’t see any reason that this should be different than the SSACP situation.  I urge you to reconsider another server, and like I said, there are quite a few servers available from when we dropped some and you can take them all, no one will mind.  The fact of the matter is, you will be taking away a server that means as much to MCP as White House and Blizzard mean to the Nachos, Snow Fort means to ACP, and Tuxedo means to RPF.  Just please think about what you are doing.

Aber: I personally think ACP shouldn’t get involved in this war. I mean, we always get involved and then end up fighting our allies! Why risk it? Just don’t get involved xD.

Boomer: Isn’t this the same thing as when SSACP wanted Mittens back, except UMA already had it, so they couldn’t get it?

Boomer: I wanted Mittens, but I admitted that SSACP was not an army, and I acknowledged the fact that UMA owned Mittens.  In case you weren’t paying attention, I was the one who called the war off once Maz quit because I was livid that he would risk SSACP over a server.  I even blame myself for the fact that Maz quit because I threatened to take action against SSACP with ACP if he did not end the war.  

In case you need a reminder…

“I was talking to Bat about negotiations for Mittens, and he said that UMA is planning to cut theirs servers to only Mittens and Frozen.  This is the reason that UMAdoesn’t want to split Mittens, because they do not intendto expand their servers to make up for it, because in fact they are trying to reduce their servers.  There is no room for negotiation here, so I am requesting that SSACP, as part of ACP, pick a new server.  If you pull out of this war, ACP will give you whatever of our servers you want.  Otherwise, ACP may consider taking action against SSACP because all of this is harming our alliance with UMA.  ACP will always help SSACP as much as it can, but once conflict between allies takes place, we must do what we can to end the conflict.”

Boomer: We haven’t changed our servers since we voted for Governors in September and we had them even before that.  That is why we never have server conflicts…you only have two servers, and you just had to schedule a battle to control another army who was there.  Also, we do have a land grant system, and there are many smaller allies of ACP that own our servers as well (we even gave a land grant to Snow Fort, which is our main server).  You just established your land grant system today...

Next point, Person, I am really disappointed in you…

Of course you can’t take New Jersey without dealing with the U.S., and Person, you are picking on one of our closest allies.  And frankly, I’m not very happy…

Here is the practice stuff that I should have posted over the weekend, only other stuff intervened:

Overall, the practice went excellently.  The Omega and the Renegade provided the entertainment with classic songs like “Down with Boomer” and “ACP is Evil”, and “Bringing Crazy Back”.  Plus the new tactic went nicely.  It was a way to utilize the circle thing that we had been doing for fun by giving it a use in battle.  The first step is to surround the opponent (speed is more important than making a perfect circle), followed by a unified charge at the group in the center.  We executed this at least 5 times at the practice, and I was very impressed.  First, some tips:

When to use this:

• When facing a small group who are towards the center of the room
• When facing a larger group that is standing close together and is not able to move easily
• When an army is switching rooms and is appearing in the center of the room

How to execute it properly:

• Quickly form a circle around the opponent, surrounding them
• Stay quiet and wait for the signal to charge
• Charge those in the center and use a clover bomb (this works best if you only tighten the circle rather than all moving to the center because it takes up more space)

We tried to start at the Snow Forts, but we couldn’t really grasp the concept of the center since there isn’t a clear center there, so we moved to the Ice Rink, which was an easier shape to start with.  The first circle took just under 5 minutes, which was much faster than some of our previous tries, and this was our first charge.

A quick regroup, and we formed another circle in around 10 seconds!  That’s the kind of speed we want.

We moved to the Snow Forts, and succeeded with the tactic in a much bigger room.

That was a massive circle!  I’m looking at a good 60 soldiers there.

We did a couple more sprints, and then we ran a marathon from the Mountain to the Cove (no pics in between, it went too fast 😛 ).  At the Cove. we had a Green party to close it out.

That is a copy of the Alpha site, which you were supposed to run, and for good reason, because you have given a lot to ACP.  But you did nothing with this site, and you are never on.  What is the last battle you attended?  I have no idea.  Maybe during the summer…

You think you mean a lot to this army, and you do…when you are around.  You are far less active than you were when I said that you were the top leader candidate during the summer.  I cannot respect someone who will not admit his faults and instead points fingers at those who have done nothing wrong.

You can make your own decision about whether you want to stay or not, but you need to understand that being a General is not just a name to show what you have achieved, but a position of responsibility.  You have failed your Brigade and your army by being negligent to your responsibilities.  Because of this, I justify your demotion.  And don’t you dare come on here and criticize people for your own faults again.  If you realize your mistake, I will welcome you back as a Lt. General, but you will need to prove that you can be responsible in order to be promoted back to General.

By the way, you may be correct that you never retired, but you have been fired for…uh, oh yeah…not being promoted 🙄

Look familiar?  This isn’t the first time you freaked out at someone for no reason…

Fort promoted Tiger over you for good reason, and you flipped at Ankita for trying to defend them.

Just out of curiosity…

Jungle, I am completely fed up with this kind of crap from you, because you are not mature enough to admit when you are wrong, and this just shows how selfish you can be.  I suggest you start changing your behavior now before it damages your relationships with others in the future.  If you make some changes in your behavior, I will gladly welcome you back to ACP, because really have done a lot for ACP, and you mean quite a bit to this army.  I sincerely hope that this is enough to make you realize that you need to change.  Regardless of whether you choose to stay, I think it would mean a lot to all of us if you would apologize.

Aber: Well to get the story straight, you’ve been inactive, so don’t go blaming me and Shab. Rap hasn’t done anything ina  long time, so idk what your talking about. Maybe that’s b/c ur inactive. Also, don’t blame oagal who only also tried helping this army, and b/c of ur inactiveness you never got to me and shab’s rank. And I was not going out with Fort when I became a high rank. And this post, just increased everyone else’s thinking of you being selfish and self-centered. Ohh, and Shab has helped alot and you know why you don’t know it.

Shab: Hmm you sound exactly like head lol. He says he did almost that whole list too. Everyone knows you were a brown noser so don’t try to lie about it. Also I know Boomer isn’t on much but he still does everything he has to to keep acp running. I asked the ppl on chat and they don’t see u on a lot either. Aber did not get her rank cause of fort. I think she got an okay mod rank as leader of uma and then kg promoted her when she retired. It was ME who gave her the rank of 3rd in command when I was leader so don’t say Aber hasn’t worked for it.

I’m not taking back what I said before cuase it is all true. You USED to be a good soldier, now your not so its best if you do retire or you become the person you used to be.

What I meant by that is that I personally haven’t seen you on a lot or seen you do anything for ACP, and I believe Aber was a mid-08 recruit that got a high rank because Fort is her boyfriend. I didn’t mention Rap because I know he’s been in ACP for a long time and I know that he has worked hard.

Anyway, that was just my personal opinion. Also, Shab, the fact that I almost never see YOU on makes me think that we are just on at different times. And last time I was going to retire, it was just an idea. I never ACTUALLY retired. I just thought I might because it was too stressful, but instead I decided to only give up my site. Anyway, my friends were what kept me here and only one of my good friends comes on anymore… so… ya.

Next point. I was under the impression you did the ranks. Guess I was wrong there, but how can Boomer know how active I am if he hasn’t been on chat in like 2 months :S.

I never even spoke to Oagal until he did the ranks. I got to where I was because when I signed up for the Brigades in Jan 08, Oagal liked my record and gave me General. Even after that, he wasn’t very active on chat and I only spoke to him in wars. And remember you and I hated eachother even when you were like 3 ranks below me.

OK responding to Aber’s list of stuff, I have…

• Helped end 2 RPF wars
• Maintained an alliance with the Nachos when things were falling apart
• Made up a plan (that worked out in the end) to help save ACP when it was in it’s dark period around the time of those civil war thingies.
• Made an ACP HQ.
• Had an ACP website which got us 400+ recruits and 73,000 hits.
• A whole lot of other stuff over the summer of 08 that I sort of forgot because I remember I had like 10 ACP projects going on at the time.
• Also, I would have done all the stuff Aber is doing if it weren’t for a certain person who’s name starts with O and ends with agalthorp who made me a contributor so I can’t get my posts out.

Anyway I’m trying not to be arrogant but I’m just really pissed off at a number of things right now, not just ACP.

So, yes, I am retiring, that’s my final decision. I hope this post clears things up, and shows you what I was trying to say. My real retirement post will come out next weekend.

Shab: Don’t listen to this bull cause most if not all of its not true. I’ll tell you whats true and what Jungle screwed up.

1. I don’t do the ranks, Boomer does, so don’t blame me cause you did not get promoted. I will suggest a promo or two but unless Boomer asks, I let him pick who he thinks should be promoted.

2. Your never on, when you are on you present yourself as an arrogant ass who is better than everyone here. You only became your rank cause you were a brown noser to oagal and you don’t like me cause I didn’t let you be a brown noser.

3. I became leader, now co-leader, because I was active and helped Fort when he was leader to get into the higher ranks. I then became co-leader under Kg and basically did the whole join comments and everything that everyone saw because Kg did the behind the scenes stuff that was needed to maintain Acp while my stuff was to keep the troops happy and do the “grunt” work. If you didn’t notice, Dr Nono wasn’t on most of the time so I had to do his work too.

I was voted leader and did pretty good, the only person who actually wanted me gone cuase they hated me and didn’t just want ankita to replace me was Oagal. Seems like you lost badly on that poll……

4. Aber was made 3rd in Co because she has helped Acp countless times, even replacing Rpf ally wise when Rpf fell. She now checks up on servers, helps with promos, manages chat, writes important posts that the other leaders don’t, and answers questions that the other leaders can’t/don’t.

I wonder why Rap wasnt mentioned…..maybe you secretly have a crush on him XD. No offence Rap.

Rapidy: None taken, I already know I’m irresistible. 😆

5. This is the SECOND time you said your retiring. Last time you said it you made a big deal and you said you were gonna write a 3 page retirement post that you wanted me to post on the Acp site…..funny how you came back.

So retire, I won’t care and I don’t think most of the higher ranks that actually know you will care either. You don’t exactly do much for Acp anymore and if your gonna try to use blasphamy to get attention so ppl will actually care about your retirement now. You used to be a good soldier but now your just like Headofpolice, you want fame but you don’t deserve it now. If it was up to me, you’d be taken out of the legends page for a post like this.

I have served in the ACP for more than 18 months. Somehow, someway, I only got to General. Shab, who, in my opinion, did nothing for ACP, somehow got to 2nd in Command. Abercrombie to third. Same thing.

Anyway, my point is that I am never going to get any further in ACP. Obviously there is something everyone has against me, probably something stupid like a banfest from a year ago or something. While all these people surpass me in ranks while I work my ass off trying to get where they are, the only thing that keeps me going is that there is a possibility of me one day becoming leader.

I have been quite active, actually. The only time I wasn’t was when I was in Mexico for 9 days. Shab says he didn’t know about that, but I think he’s lying since I made 2 posts about it here. It’s really not my fault that real life prevents me from coming to a few practice wars.

Anyway, I thought that working on the ACP site would get me somewhere, but someone (I’m thinking Oagal since the other admin, Boomer, said I could be author) made me contributor. I never get my posts out.

Really what made this happen were strokes of ridiclously bad luck. First I go to Mexico. Then my normal comp breaks and it won’t let me log on to WordPress on any other of my computers. Then I miss the WWFF because of a dinner reservation. Then an overnight school field trip. That, added together with the fact that the person who does the ranks (Shab) and I never happen to be on at the same time, made me get demoted.

And now I think, WTF? If I’m never gonna get any further in ACP, why am I still here? Which brings me to the point of this post.

I think, after 556 days of active service, that it’s time for me to retire.

The thing is, I bet most of you are rejoicing about that right now, probably, again, because of some little crappy thing I did to you a year ago when I was first made a mod. For those of you who aren’t, thanks. Anyway, I’m gonna try not to sound so conceited. I just think that it’s time for me to go. I will still be on chat sometimes, and rarely you’ll see me on CP fighting for you, but formally, I think I would like to retire.

This isn’t my official retirement post becuase I’m only 90% sure about this right now, but if I do decide to retire, you’ll see my post within a week.

I won’t be coming back to acparmy.wordpress.com, but I’ll make my official post there, too.

Don’t forget the Practice Session!

Tactic: Grouping, Charging, Following Orders

Times:

1:00 pm Pacific

2:00 pm Mountain

3:00 pm Central

4:00 pm Eastern

9:00 pm U.K.

For this one, just come in ACP Green.  We will be starting at the Snow Forts to practice the command, and when I think we have succeeded in what I wanted to accomplish, we will move around the server and try it in a few other locations.  We will also be following it up with a recruiting session.
