ACP DIVISION WAR UPDATE: All Division Leaders should give me your final picks for the positions as soon as possible.  The war begins this Saturday and the final briefing is this Thursday.

Edit: Turns out I made the ACP site’s 1,500th post with my summary of the Tournament battle!

One thing I’ve noticed about ACP is that a lot of our servers have low populations, so we will be invading a few servers with larger populations for recruiting purposes.  Some of our other servers have been claimed by other armies, so we will first re-invade to regain possession of the server, and then we will offer land grants.

The follow servers cannot be used for land grants: Breeze, Snow Fort, and Snow Globe.  This means you cannot own any percentage of these servers.

The servers we will be invading were previously owned by ACP when we had Nations in Club Penguin Armies.

The ACP Site has OFFICIALLY reached 2,000,000 hits!  We actually reached the mark a few days ago, but there was a glitch and our hits were 50,000 lower than the actual.  I emailed WordPress a second time and they fixed it!  Check it out!

I am proud to announce that today, Monday, October fifth, 2009, I have been in ACP for one year. I’m so proud to have made it this far, I know most sergeants don’t last this long. I love ACP, no matter how many times I flip out on you guys. (Sorry, that’s a lot = ) I have some pretty good friends here, compared to my rotten friends at school. (And no, I am not going to go all emo in this post. This is a HAPPY occasion, right? :D)

Anyway, I wanted to thank some people, because I know many of you will be long gone by the time I retire, so I’m thanking you now so you see it 🙂 (Its in no particular order.)

I would like to start by thanking all the soldiers who came out for the battle yesterday!  It was EPIC!  Honestly, we don’t have as many soldiers as we used to, but at that battle, you wouldn’t have known, because the soldiers we have are working harder than ever, and it is thanks to you that we have recovered so much in just one week.

Next, I’ll share the new Top 10 Army list made by CPA Central (we’re Number 1 again 😀 ):

ACP: The ACP is definitely back on top again.  Somehow with their new leadership they managed to get back to the size that they used to be. [woo 8) ] They maxed around 60 people at the Tourney and usually had around 20 troops in three different rooms at once. However, they really didn’t have too many tactics [yup needs improving :?], although they were were well played throughout the different rooms. We’ll have to see if they can keep this up or not.

Basically we had a ton of people on Club Penguin, but the combination of me being on a different penguin no one knew about and just our general rustiness from not having had a practice session in so long resulted in us spreading our soldiers all over the server.  We did have as many as 75 on the server, but we were never able to get more than 40 in a room due to tactics issues.  I will be scheduling some tactics sessions soon.

Next, our hits have been way up recently.  We had 27,703 hits this past week (the highest since the week of August 10th), over 5,400 more than last week before the coup (25% increase), and nearly 4,000 per day 😯 !  If we keep up the pace this month, we’ll have 125,504 hits this month, over 31,000 more than last month and our highest since June!  Keep working hard guys, ACP is on the way up!

This is my first post in about a year, I made this with Boomer’s permission. I view it as a duty (yeah I said duty), as a retired leader to do as such, because it is his army, not mine. Boomer also read this before it was posted. I don’t want any edits on this. If you could please grant me one wish, let it be that, because the last few I have wished for haven’t come true. Must be an un-lucky star out there…

Anyways, i’m leaving ACP chat for a bit.

Yeah, it probably doesn’t mean much to anyone here, because i’ll more than likely be back, but not for a little while. All the fights, they sort of make me wonder and ponder and question why I even bother to come here. I don’t understand what’s so fun about name-calling. Self-insecurities are possibly the fault. Nonetheless, I don’t like to feel like I must prostrate when the furious rages on. The iniquity that turns into agony keeps increasing 1 by 1, 2 by 2, 3 by 3, 4 by 4, 5 by 5, 6 by 6, but, my spirit is growing 7 by 7… Faster than the speed of light, cause light only penetrates the darkness that’s already there and I’m already there, i’m here at the end of the road which is the beginning of the road beyond time, but where’s everyone else? Uh-oh… don’t tell me that everyone else is enjoying this supercilious and barbaric event… If you don’t then why are you there? Why are you there? Why aren’t you doing anything about it? Why do you let this imprison your righteous virtue of enjoyment? During the day, I had asked “Will the leader please pc me?”… It came as no surprise that I didn’t get an answer for the first 20 minutes after I asked that question. If you don’t feel appauled by what I just said, you should. If you don’t read or listen you don’t get the word. Where there’s no word there’s no bird or a sound to be heard. When you can’t hear what you say, everything that was once valid is now quixotic. Plain and simple. I know this will serve no impact on any of you, because there’s absolutely no reason to listen to me, i’m just your ordinary, run of the mill, retired leader who doesn’t get into other people’s business.

For starters, based on what I saw at the battle, I would award the following places to the different armies:

1. ACP
2. IW
3. Tacos
4. Nachos
5. UMA
6. GW
7. WW
8. IMAF

As for ACP, I think we need some major help with tactics.  We got lucky with how much larger we were at the battle, but with the exception of a few good charges, we were all over the place.  We were scattered throughout the server, which wasn’t helped by the fact that I had to use a penguin other than my own so many did not know to listen to my orders, which means we need to pay more attention, as well as practice command response.

Things to Improve:

• Only the leader gives commands, do not say to change rooms until they say to, we need to stick together.
• When the leader gives a command on chat, repeat it on Club Penguin so everyone can see it.
• Pay attention more, you aren’t of much use if your penguin is sitting in a room we left 10 minutes ago.
• When changing rooms, walk to the entrance, do not use the map unless told to.  This allows everyone to see the motion of the soldiers moving so they know where to go.
• SPREAD OUT!  We bunch up way to much.  This goes for regrouping as well, you need to look larger than the opponent.  If you have 30 soldiers but they’re all grouped together, you might as well have 10.
• When charging an opponent who is spamming, use the clover emote instead of words, the words just add to what they’re doing.  The color of an emote penetrates the words better and you stand out as the army with the better charge.

Go HERE for my overview of how I thought the other armies did, as well as what we need to work on.  Also make sure to comment on this post if you made the battle!

The battle today was incredible on so many levels.  ACP was the biggest I’ve seen them in months (60-75 on Club Penguin and 55-70 on chat), and we maintained our size across the server despite it becoming full, not being able to fit in one room, and me not being able to get back on the server (I borrowed a member penguin – thank you Davy).

I think it is safe to say we were clearly the largest army there, although who won is debatable, ACP took over 3 of the most important rooms and didn’t lose either of ours.  Here are the pics:

At the beginning we were recruiting at the Beach 30 minutes beforehand (about 40 soldiers):

We split ourselves between the Beach and the Dock for more recruiting (40 here):

We had 30 more soldiers at the Dock, for a total of about 75 soldiers! 😯

This was right after I got back on with the penguin Clack Iii (about 35 soldiers here and more at the Dock):

The start of the battle:

Our first move was to invade the Plaza once UMA invaded the Snow Forts, and we took it over with no resistance (25 soldiers):

At the same time, we sent some soldiers to the Beach in case of an invasion (20-25 soldiers, 55 on the server):

The Tacos, led by Riffy8888 had a huge invasion of the Dock, and we fought for control for a long time:

We gained the upper hand after a long battle:

We then invaded the Town, which was empty, our second major room that we conquered:

We tried to go for the trifecta by invading the Snow Forts, but we were forced to fight both the Nachos and the Tacos, and while we held a slight lead, we were unable to claim it:

We retreated to the Dock to regroup (25 soldiers in the room with more scattered across the server):

The Nachos then invaded, but there weren’t many, so we held on to the Dock:

The Tacos invaded yet again, but ACP dominated the battle this time around (35 ACP, 5 Tacos):

We went on to the Snow Forts again, where we met small groups of Nachos and IW:

We were losing ground in the Snow Forts again (about 30 soldiers):

We retreated to the Dock again, where the Nachos countered (25 ACP, 5 Nachos with 65 ACP on the server):

Once we had regained the Dock, we tried a 3rd time on the Snow Forts, crushing the Nachos with an epic clover charge:

The Nachos regrouped, but we held a serious edge in size (about 35 ACP to 10 Nachos):

The Nachos tried to regroup again, and were crushed by a spam charge.  ACP claimed the Snow Forts after all but about 4 Nachos were left:

With time running out, IW, to whom ACP had lost its Number 1 Army spot to recently, tried to invade the Beach and were crushed by an ACP spam charge:

With the Beach secured, ACP moved to secure the Dock from GW, which we accomplished successfully:

Overall, ACP did very well (probably better than expected) considering we only had about 25 soldiers tops a week ago.  In my opinion, we were the clear winners of this battle, claiming the Town, Snow Forts, and Plaza and still holding on to the Beach and Dock at the end of the battle.  Whether you agree with that or not, you cannot deny we are once again the largest army in Club Penguin.  We had as many as 75 soldiers on the server at one point, and we defeated both IW and the Nachos when we faced them head on, not to mention our chat had 69 while IW and the Tacos only had 29 (the Nachos were under that number).

So with all do respect, CPA Central, I do not believe we are the 3rd largest army any longer 😆
