Famous ACP Troops: Episode 13 Shaboomboom||Poll of the Week

Hey there ACP! Its Stew and nothing else. ANYWAYS, as you all know, Im going to still post. Ive decided to continue FAT just because Ive gotten farther on it, or maybe one week I’ll do FAT and the next SEC. Either or, Im still going to post :D. Anyways, Im going to continue the Poll of the week in FAT, just in case I dont do SEC. So I hope you enjoy!

Me: Hi Shab 😀

Shab: Hello Stew

Me: Alright, my first question is, how was ACP when you first joined?

Shab: ACP was more CP base. Chat was used at night or merely as a form of communication for commands. We were on CP almost 24/7 fighting whoever was on there. From Nachos to UMA, day and night. Ranks weren’t as important, we just cared about being ranked at that point because so many people hadn’t been in months. Oagal didn’t exactly like doing promos on Ranks.

Me: Alright my next question is, how is being an Owner?

Shab: Being an owner is awesome. I get a gold pawn. But, at least for me, it requires more responsibility. Since I believe that owners are suppose to remain active, whether retired from the army or not.

Me: My next question is, have you seen any improvement in ACP since you were Leader?

Shab: I’ve seen many changes. Whether they are improvements, I’m not sure. I don’t like the change on how much xat and ranks are weighted. I don’t like that we are never on CP unless it’s a battle and even then we leave as soon as we can.

Me: My next question is, were battles your favorite activity?

Shab:  I personally enjoyed politics of it. The arguments, the confrontations, the spying, the meetings with everyone else. I didn’t care for the leading the troops on CP but rather the setting it up and stuff. Mostly, what the 2ics should be doing.

Me: Any advice for new ACP Troops?

Shab: Focus on CP more, it really is fun. Instead of staying on chat all the time go on and find something to do. Also, make friends in multiple armies. If one day you find yourself as leader, you’ll be glad that you have friends in other armies.

Me: Thanks for your time, Shab 😀

Shab: No problem 😀

So I hope you all liked it.

Next Week: Im going to try to interview former 3ic, Bfan!

Cherish War

Hey ACP,

Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. I have midyear exams next week, so you can imagine that my schedule has become extremely busy. Not only that, but I have track practice every day for two hours after school, so usually I don’t get home until 5:00 and have little time to get on chat and/or post. Track is wrapping up in two to three weeks though, so it’ll become easier for me to get on soon, but I’m working on spending more of my available time that I have to post actually posting. It takes a while for me to get ideas, so you really don’t see me posting often unless there’s something really good to post about. But enough with the excuses.

War. The entire thing that every army-including ACP- is built upon. No, not “protecting Club Penguin”. Not “fighting the good fight”. Not “fight the bad”. Let’s face it, those phrases that armies have become known for have nothing to do with the truth. Honestly, there have been about three instances in all of the history of warfare where armies banded together to collectively fight an enemy for the betterment of us all. The real point of armies (or what I believe, anyway) is war. Mindless, pointless war. The great thing about war on Club Penguin is that it’s beneficial for us. War is often seen as a negative thing, due to the obvious consequences of war in the real world, but here’s the secret to Club Penguin wars: nobody dies. Nobody gets hurt. At the most, some bad feelings arise between people and pretty nasty words can be said. But, compared to wars in real life,  the positives of wars on Club Penguin significantly outweigh  the negatives.

You may be asking, what does the above paragraph have to do with the ACP right now? One thing in particular. We currently find ourselves at the beginning of a war. A real war. Not us trying to get an army to fight us unsuccessfully. No, this time armies actually want to fight us. Shocking, right?

But seriously, we have a war on our hands. How we handle it is crucial. Wars don’t really happen that much, and when they do, they don’t drag on for too long. This definitely isn’t as bad as it was in, say, 2009, when getting a war to last two weeks was an achievement, but things can fall apart in wars before a single invasion even happens if you don’t handle it carefully.

All I’m really trying to say is this: I like war. You like war. If you don’t like Club Penguin wars, I really can’t understand why you’d even be reading this. I just don’t want to see this thing go down the drain. Excessive amounts of hate, being babies over potential losses, being arrogant virtual penguins, not going to KFC often enough… these are all things that could ruin a war that could potentially be great. If you want this war to be a good one, you’d do well to avoid these things.

In conclusion, I’d like to wish our opponents in this war good luck, and express hope for many, many great battles that we will all remember for the rest of our army careers. Good luck to those of you in ACP, as well. Some advice? Don’t forget about the effectiveness of unscheduled raids.

let the snowballs commence.

Hello ACP! // The Importance Of Having Fun

Hello ACP,

I’m sure most of you know who I am, but if you don’t I will give a small summary on myself for you. I am one of the Generals at the ACP and I have been in this army for about two years. I am also the head of CPAC, after being in the news site for one year. My goal as a high moderator rank (or owner rank in the future) is for everyone at ACP to have a lot of fun and enjoy everyday at this army. Talking about fun, lets move onto my post topic.

ACP At War! DEFENSE OF BREEZE, MITTENS AND ICE BOX!

Shab: Ken, check facebook when you can.

Ken: We are defending Mittens. Nachos are defending Fjord therefore they cannot invade White House.

Hello ACP,

Once again a foolish alliance is attempting to take us down. Perfect, just what we need after a month or two without a war. A lot of armies are against us including the Nachos and LT. I am aware the Nachos are invading White House, not as in war, but just because they want their server back. We must play it smart or ACP will end. We have always pulled through and we will rise above this challenge. We once again will fight to the last person and will never surrender to any enemy that deems themselves fit to be called an “army”. We have some servers to defend. This seems like an impossible task to do but we are the ACP we can do anything and the impossible. We might lose some servers but do not be discouraged, we will take them back or die trying. I know UMA and RPF are also invading and some servers will take priority over others but mark my words, ACP will win.
