Moment of The Month: April

Addressed to the Army of Club Penguin

BLIZZARD, Shamrock Bulletin Headquarters – April was a month of battles, warring against Water Vikings and our allies Peoples Imperial Confederation. Although it was a busy schedule, and a little bit chaotic, it was still a great month with a lot to uncover. With that done, let’s look into the top three moments of April.

In April, we lost the WV war – which definitely demotivated us for a while. It was a busy week; signing a pact with EGCP, warring against PIC, or even staff getting promoted. April definitely had its good and its bad, but it was fun in all of the chaos. Now that we’ve established the month, let’s get onto the highlights of the month.

3. ACP signs NAP with Elite Guardians

Two mortal enemies for life, unexpectedly signed a Non Aggression-Pact on 24th of April, around the time of our declaration of war on PIC. It was signed to stop the conflict temporarily between the two armies, and also to stabilize the community. Unexpected, but not terrible!

2. Declaration of War against WV

The declaration of war against WV was a shock to many, especially considering they had just came out of a war with our allies TCP. The announcement was sent on 26th April, after the PIC war had ended with a peace treaty. Even though we lost the war, it still was exciting, considering we had tied with them in a point of time, and the war shop had opened to encourage troops (Noa loved to abuse it on me).

1. Massive staff team updates; promotion of Cheska to HCOM

In early April, before the wars, we saw a bunch of people not only join staff but get promoted. This includes Cheska, who put in the utmost effort to get promoted to HCOM as General after a long time of waiting. It was extremely well deserved, and it only was better with all the new staff additions at that time. It’s an extremely proud moment for all of us watching!

It’s safe to say that April definitely was a month of its own. Even amidst all of the chaos, it was still a great month for all of us. The war we lost against WV may have been disappointing, but we’ll use what we’ve learnt in the upcoming months.

But what do YOU think? What is YOUR favorite moment of April? Let us know in the comments.
