Hello ACP. Tonight I speak to you for unfortunately the last time as an ACP General. On March 28th, 2009, I submitted a join application. Not just any join application, a join application here, on the site of the Army of Club Penguin. I remember years ago that first thrill of finding the ACP on Mammoth, fighting the Ninjas of Mammoth. My story began that day thanks to a penguin named Pikachuboo. I saw this group of green penguins engaging a group of ninjas in a type of combat I had not seen before on Club Penguin; using advanced tactics and a chain of command not seen in rogue clans. I was awestruck, and immediately asked him what his group was called.
“The Army of Club Penguin!” He responded, “To join us, search Army of Club Penguin today!”
And that is what I did. I found a brilliant army, one nearly at the climax of its lifetime so far, led by a brilliant leader, led by all his soldiers. I was so excited those first few days, waiting to see what rank I would be given by the leaders. I was so happy when I was made a Sergeant (2nd lowest rank) and my brother made a corporal (lowest). I was so fascinated with the history of ACP and armies in general. I read old archives of the ACP site, learning all about the old world wars. I fought in the color wars myself, though not finding ACP for another few years. The conflict between ACP and UMA during World War 3 especially interested me. My first battle against the Nachos in April sparked something inside of me. I was so excited to get to meet Boomer, to add him to my friends list (which I unfortunately never accomplished, even to this day).
I had such grand intentions, of becoming an ACP leader, and I intended on doing it all quickly. I was so foolish and young in hindsight, only making it to the rank of major (mid member) at the time. Eventually I fell to the dreaded curse that many do today, becoming inactive, and by the time Seanehawk came to power I was nearly gone. I left ACP and all armies for over four long years.
Then, that brings me to October 2013. Over the few years I had checked on the ACP website about every year or so, expecting ACP to be dead each time. On October 20th I checked the ACP website once more, and found that the grand army I had served in years before had fallen into a shadow of its former glory, facing off against its age old enemies, the Nachos. I decided to reapply once more, and give it one more shot.
I was given the rank of Staff Sergeant at first, by Rock71. I considered this a complete waste of my skills and decided to appeal to the current US division leader at the time, Jerry, who had inherited the US division after one of the biggest falls in army history. I pleaded my case to him, and he changed my rank to Captain, which I happily accepted. Over the next few weeks I was very active and managed to become moderator in 3 weeks. After the Coup D’Etat of Cassius Brutus I joined the newly formed ACPRF, ACP Recruiting Force. It was created by Jerry, and I am proud to say that I was the first person to join it other than him, and recruit more total time than anyone other than Jerry himself.
At the same time I decided to join ACPTR as an instructor, soon climbing my way up to Co-Leader, and then eventually Director after only teaching a few lessons. I managed to get the organization out of its slump temporarily, with February of 2013 being the most successful month in over a year.
Eventually I found myself in a struggle for the title of US General (3ic) with Lord Albaro and Mikester, leading to some of my most productive time in ACP with me recruiting an average of 5 hours a day, sometimes on 2 laptops. In any case, I was selected by Jerry to become the next US 3ic. In my just over 2 months as 3ic, I have helped the ACP in any way possible, with the intention of becoming leader eventually. When I rejoined, I swore that I would not retire until I had put ACP in a better position then when I joined. I can honestly say that through my work in the ACPRF and leading skills, I have accomplished this. My only regret is over the future fate of the US division in my absence (I wish you the best of luck, Bigmail).
Here are a list of people I would like to thank:
ACP (2009):
Freddy257 (Michael): Those noob days on Mammoth fighting the ninjas were great, if only those days could ever return.
Pikachuboo: Thank you, friend, for introducing me to this army for the very first time. I know that you will never read this, but I am still glad for this. You were an essential part of my battles on Mammoth as well.
Amno: Another member of my old ninja fighting squad on Mammoth.
Monsterfully: I know you don’t even remember me, but I remember the time years ago when we fought together on Mammoth. Congrats on becoming 3ic, even if I’m 3 years late.
Saint1119: Thank you for being kind to me on chat, even though I was a raging noob. You were a great leader of ACP and deserve to be a CPAC Legend.
CPSIF (Club Penguin Special Intelligiance Force, made by Twingy):
Twingy: Thanks for giving me a great experience and creating CPSIF, even if we were the noobiest army ever in existence and only maxing 2. I decided that you belonged here over in 2009 ACP because your impact upon me was far greater in CPSIF than ACP. You were my only real friend in 09 and your hamster was never okay again after what I put it through. 😉 The CPSIF website can be found here http://cpsif.wordpress.com
Bluenev1: I only talked to you once or twice, but you were a great guy from what I knew and the only other person in CPSIF that was active.
ACP 2013-14
Jerry: Thank you for making me a captain, and probably keeping me from leaving forever. Thanks for all the training you gave me over the winter about how to make an army rise. You’re a great guy and I enjoyed all the time I got to spend with you. Our leading together isn’t over though, you know I will truly become your apprentice this summer. You are definitely the best US leader ACP’s had in years.
Flipmoo: Thanks for dealing with all of my whining lately, and thanks for your excellent leadership of ACP. You truly deserve CPAC Legend.
Sercan: I always thought that you were a great leader as well. I’m sorry that you felt the need to retire.
Boomer20: You had much more of an impact upon me in my return, and you are the best leader of ACP history. You are literally a genius and were always there for ACP in every opportunity.
Stromae: You are a great owner and I definitely expect to see you as a future leader of ACP.
Purpleslime4: Good luck on your ascension to ACP leader in the near future, I always thought you were a nice person 😀
Mrtchy: I never really got to know you as well as I would’ve liked to, as you are AUSIA, but from what I know of you you seem like a great guy with a good future in ACP.
Bigmail: We may have had our differences, but I wish you the best of luck with the US division.
Albaro Lord and Mikester: We had a good competition to become 3ic, and I’m sure that you two are the rising stars of the US division.
Phantom: Your pervertedness may know no bounds, but my first month in ACP after rejoining was hilarious with you around.
Thank you to all who have influenced me throughout this time, I would love to write more but I have no more time left to continue this post.
My hopes have been cut short recently because of events on chat and the fact that this is taking too much time out of my personal life. Coming onto chat and leading events have become a chore for me, and I do not believe that is fair for the ACP troops waiting in line to become 3ic or myself. I may return to armies in mid June, so you may see me then.
But until then, goodbye ACP!
I, Lumarnara, officially resign from my position as General, of the Army of Club Penguin.
I wish you all the best of luck,
Lumarnara

Goodbye old pal. Through both good times and bad, you always stood out as a leader. ACP will be forever in your graditude over the sheer work you have contributed, not only to the US Division but to ACP as a whole. You’ll me missed, my friend. Hopefully some day, I will have the honour to work alongside you once again.

Bye luma, I will really miss you, I really like the way you recruit and lead 😉
I only knew you for a couple of months, but you were a great 3ic. I wish you the best!
Aw nuts, Lummie! It’s a darn shame you’re leaving. It would have been great to see you be leader. You have made a difference in ACP and its USA force and you’re a great recruiter. We’ll miss you!
Can’t believe it’s been ten years since Mammoth, I was just a kid! I stumbled on this thread by accident in June ’19. You’ll probably never see this since the thread hasn’t been updated in 5 years, but it was fun reading through this and remembering the old days. -Amno, 2LT
