Hello all and welcome to the scariest week of the month, unmod week. For those of you who have experience an unmod week before feel free to share your terror stories in the comment. For those who haven’t, prepare to scream.
Here’s the details.
What It Is: Unmod week was originally a week in which soldiers got to vote for people they believed deserved to be unmodded all the way back in 2008/2009. It was later expanded to include owners as well. This time you will get 5 days to submit your votes.
If voted your name will be displayed publicly and you will be unmodded (or unownered) for 3 weeks. The 4th week you will be remodded (or reownered) and you will get a week to demonstrate that you have learned to follow and enforce the rules before the next unmod week occurs.
If you are a mod you will get membered for those 3 weeks. If you are an owner you will get modded for those 3 weeks. However, if you continue to abuse your powers, you will become a member.
Votes will be used in one of two ways (decided once I find out the number of people who vote and the total votes that I get, so the more votes the better!). There will either be a number of votes someone needs to be unmodded or the top 10% of people who get the most votes will be unmodded. Like I said, it all depends on the total amount of votes.
Why I Do It: I do it to give mods a reason to follow the rules, it also teaches them what happens when they abuse their powers. Thirdly it helps to weed out the mods who do not actually do what they should do as mods and just sit on chat.
Who Can Participate: Anyone who was in ACP or is currently in ACP. Retirees get a vote as well!
How To Participate: Fill out the form below with the following information.
REMEMBER: These votes will only be seen by myself (Shaboomboom) or Boomer. No leaders or others shall see them. This means that you should be honest and have no need to worry about who sees your votes. If the results are questions Boomer may be asked to do a recount. So please, be honest!
Who you believe should be unmodded or unownered on ACP chat and why (if you don’t give me a reasonable reason I won’t count your vote) (Note: The bot can be voted for, please provide a reason just like for everyone else)
Acceptable Reasons: Reasons about abuse of power on chat, breaking rules, and about being a poor figurehead on chat for their respected rank (mod/owner) are accepted reasons. If you vote with the reason being that the person is inactive I will not accept it. That is for the leaders to deal with, not myself 🙂
Remember, you can vote for both mods and owners!

Who would judge is is qualified to tell if it’s a good reason.

I judge based on, is it as reason of abuse of power pertaining to chat, is it being disrespectful/not being a figurehead to others on chat, has anyone else provided a similar reason.
If any of the triumvirate do pass the threshold for unownering I will def go back through the reasons and will pass those votes along to Boomer so he may decide if the reasons are valid as well.
