Elections are a popularity contest, not a contest of who works harder or has been here longer. How can you say picking isn’t fair but elections are?
Picking is not in any way more fair. It’s always hoppers, popular people and retirees that are picked. It’s basically saying ‘Screw you, generals, we’ll pick our best friend.’. You could’ve at least asked everyone,IMO, and besides through elections people at least get the 3ic they want. All opinion.
