BREEZE — Our beloved capital Breeze has, over the years , become a preferred spot for most ACP events.
A goal I have had for a while now is to set up rogue recruiting on Breeze. Due to Mammoth being lost to server-hungry armies, Breeze is one of the last remaining servers where normal citizens will recognize our uniform. Recently I’ve had situations where I’m on CP doing something and somebody will point me out of a crowd: “Hey! That guy is in ACP”. Things like that gives me hope that there is a possibility for Breeze to become an ACP hangout (even if the things the citizens say aren’t always the nicest things).
I’ve come up with three ways to recruit on Breeze in an open and friendly manner. I’d imagine the more friendly we are to the citizens, more and more will approve and recognize us when we are online for an event.
If you notice a small crowd forming, or people talking to one another, try to bring up ACP. Remember to be polite and always join in on the conversation. Whenever you feel like the time is right, go ahead and pop the question, asking if they want to join. If for some reason they go on to rant about our army being bad, tell them that ACP has changed (most likely these people are from Mammoth eras).
The hardcore recruiting technique is just as effective too. If someone asks you a question though, be sure to answer them. Constant presence on a server is the best way for an army to get noticed; examples being ACP and Ice Vikings on Mammoth.
As cheesy as it may be, it really works sometimes! If you need to waste time earning coins for a new item, why not throw in some ACP advertisement in the mix? This maybe be the more easy way to make friends because you’re physically playing games with them while having a conversation.
