How Should We Treat New Recruits?

Hi ACP. This is going to be a short post, but it’s about something important.

New recruits: I’m curious to know what you guys think. How do you think we should treat them? Do you think we should be nice to them, or do you think we should be tough on them to make them ready for battle? In what ways can we train them to become active soldiers and leaders? I want to hear your ideas!

  1. this is cp armies not the army, being mean won’t help. it will just make recruits leave. people cooperate better when your nice to them

  2. FIRST OFF DONT IGNORE ANYONE!!!!!!!! Treat them like you do your friends!

  3. Step 1: Be welcoming to them and let them feel noticed
Step 2: PC then and congratulate on joining ACP and ask if they have any questions
Step 3: Get them to join ACPTR

  4. Don’t be mean to them,it scares them out of the army. Be nice to them and guide them in the right direction so they don’t make any mistakes. Tell them to go to the join page and then answer any questions and have them join ACPTR for a boost in their army career.

  5. Be very nice and welcoming

  6. I would be nice to them, and notify them of battles and direct them to battle posts, then suggest they join ACPTR and tell them that it will help them get promotions faster. Then I would make sure that they can talk to ANYBODY if they need advice or anything.

  7. here are 3 things on how we should treat new recruits.
    1. Be nice and talk to them.
    2. Make sure they know that you need to earn leadership.
    3. Don’t be mean and call them noobs. If they tick you off. Just don’t talk to them.
    4. Remeaber that they could the next leader.

  8. This is a fairly debated issue.
All people need to earn other peoples respect. Sure we should be civil towards everyone, but theres no need for special treatments.

  9. It’s a healthy combination of both. Yes, military life if tough. Respect is demanded and earned though. My belief is that most recruits (most) realize that training isn’t a picnic but at some point in time during the process you have to recognize the dedication they are showing. If you don’t, you may never gain their respect. Leadership through fear isn’t leadership, it’s bullying.
