So You Think You Can Dance

dance

Did my eyes deceive me or did I actually witness Waterkid100 and his Pirate army during a battle with the mighty ACP on Mammoth, dancing for their pookie, plush, stuffed Waterkid dolls on the ground before them?  O_O  Did anyone tell the Pirates that this was a battle and not a reality, elimination, competition dance show?  I don’t know, but I saw a lot of very entertained and happy stuffed Waterkids on the ground being amused!  LOL

ACP, you did well at the Mammoth event, thanks for everyone who participated.  However, I do see a lot of easy improvements we can all make that will enable us to perform better in our next events.  No need to be defensive on this post.  If you are guilty of any of these, just simply make the changes you need and perform your best.  If you have not done any of these things listed below, then this doesn’t pertain to you, congratulations and carry on.

During an event,

please do NOT do these things in chat:

1.  Interrupt leaders in chat with nonsense chatter.  Keep chit chat down to a minimum so that our chat doesn’t lag and  people stay focused.  Events are not that long, so please save your social talking for after the event.

2.  Talk in PC, unless necessary.  Talking in PC keeps non-related event talk out of our main chat, but it takes your focus away from the event and following tactics.

3.  Repeat tactics.  Unless asked, do not repeat tactics unless you are a Supreme Commander, Head General (2IC), or Commander General (3IC).  It lags the chat and causes confusion.

4.  Give out orders/tactics.  Unless you are specifically asked to do so, do not give out orders/tactics in the chat during events.  Always follow the leader’s tactics or whoever is leading the event.

5.  Never say anything negative about the event in main chat.  In other words, never say, “we are losing” or “we can’t win,”  etc.  There are adversaries in our chat and they will take screen shots and use them against us.  Not to mention, the battle isn’t over until it’s over and the tables can easily turn.  Plus size isn’t everything.  There are many variables in winning a battle.

By not doing these 4 things, our events will be more successful, having everyone’s attention and focus and giving everything they’ve got for the event.  We have lots of time before events and after events to socialize.

So with that said, we have 2 events today, one on Klondike and the other on Flipper.  ACP, get your game faces on and unite as one to battle against the Pirates. While they dance, we will fight!

CLOVERS FOR ALL!
