Swimmerboy01 Edit- It is mandatory to join the Steam Group if you have a Steam Account, and if you dont have one its an easy process. This will help out communication and also grow sizes.

‘Mandatory’. I have a steam account but none of my friends play CP so I don’t really wanna join the group..

^ He has a good point. Sure you should make stuff mandatory for our on cp/xat/site activities but you can’t drag yourselves into other people’s real lives – it’s their choice.

This has got to be one of the worst ideas yet for ACP, and I’ll explain why:

    1. You say it’s a great source for recruiting yet most of the people on Steam are older men, so I’m sure you would love them to be in our group. There are some 12-14 yearolds on steam

    2. Maxy’s point of people who have steam will probably have friends, and most friends of people in this army don’t know they are in a kid’s army, which can be embarrassing to others, so it’s not fair to be “mandatory” to join. I have to agree on this one, although it’s not hard to make another steam account.

    3. Steam is mainly made up of jerks and trolls and general idiots who will find some teenagers easy targets. Not all of them 🙂

    4. “Back up chat” it’s useless as most people don’t have steam and don’t want to get it, and it doesn’t have the bonuses of powers like Hush and Temp-Owner/Mod stuff. I have to totally agree with this.

Finally, if ollie says it’s bad – it’s bad.

I am mildly offended, using Steam as my main source of games (and no, I don’t run into trolls often, I actually find more around CP armies), but Flipper’s certainly right. In fact, when I joined ACP my number 1 priority was to keep it a secret from my friends. Also, it wouldn’t be a good source of recruiting.
