Hello soldiers of the Army of Club Penguin.
[Warning: There is text and no pictures!]
I’m Flipper7706, and I’ve been leader of this army a long time and recently I’ve had a lot of troubles which have led from bad to worse not just for me, but according to a lot of people, to this army as well. Kenneth1000 to my knowledge kind of explained my absence a bit, and it was true. A close family member to me recently died and I am not going to go into anymore detail about that, except for the fact they were youngish and it got me thinking. Do I really want to stay here?
The question has caused too much trouble than good for me, I’ve had lengthy thinking sessions, sometimes even crying about this and the recent death (yes call me a loser if you want) and generally thinking over my life and how that very close person that was taken from me. Over the past few weeks just been contemplating what my life could be, should be and will be. However, enough about my life and my problems, a further reason to my inactiveness was that my internet was down for the past week which helped my thoughts and now it’s back so I can finally come on and talk about what’s happened, and what the next step for me is.
Having been away for a while I don’t actually really know what happens, but from what I can gather as I came on chat today is this:
- We are at war with the Light Troops, and apparently it isn’t going too well. (according to soldiers on chat today)
- I was kind of removed from leadership by Kenneth but I can come back when I want to? Something like that.
- There may or may not be a little rebellion or “newspaper column” and I don’t really know about that.
Correct me if I’m wrong about the above things but I don’t really have time to delve into what’s happened in the past few weeks.
The point of this post is kind of a massive apology for my absence and what I’m going to do next and if anyones interested what caused me to go, I’ve kind of explained it already. When I logged on today I was greeted by Fiasco and we got talking about things and we got to 2 fundamental questions for me. First, am I in ACP for me? Do I join ACP for me and to have fun, or do I join for others? Am I only in this army still because others need me?
Secondly is quite important for me and important for a lot of people and causes most of them to retire if they get the correct answer. Is being in ACP fun for me? Or is being leader of ACP being a tiring boring job which I don’t want to do anymore? I have a vague answer for both of those questions. So this is what I’m going to do. I am coming back for this war against the Light Troops and I am going to be as active as I can to win this war and be back to my self. After the war finishes, after we win the war, whatever, I will answer those questions again and decide if I will stay or leave. Maybe I will post a poll asking do you want me to stay, and I’ll take that into consideration of my own personal opinions.
To finish off this post I ask and/or propose a few things:
- Kenneth1000, you have every right to retire in June and I won’t stop you, but I’d like to ask you that if the war carries on past June if you could stay with us until the war finishes, like me. We can’t leave ACP in the middle of a fully fledged war.
- To the guys that hate me, or mine and ken’s leadership, don’t worry! After this war we will most likely retire so if you can hold on just that longer to win us this war! You will have an ACP free from us two.
- There seems to be a lot of complaints about the leadership (apart from the leaders) and who might replace Ken and I when we leaves, and I’m going to propose a meeting and a load of polls later in the week which will be very important to you guys if you are concerned about the future of ACP.
That’s basically it. So to answer my question at the start. I do want to stay here, but I will leave after this war if I’m not wanted or I can’t cope anymore.
I’m Flipper7706,
and I’m very sorry it’s gone on like this.
