Hai Dere ACP!

Sorry for the delay of the next Senate meeting, but it seems everyone stayed patient… or maybe everyone just forgot 😆 But anyways better late than never. A week from now I’ll be holding the Senate meeting for May. Now senators, please come up with practical, and reasonable bills, that we can actually pass and put into action. At the last few meetings we didn’t get many bills passed and one of the only ones was the bill to bring back Iasage’s constitution. The rest were either too out there and didn’t get passed, or were overridden by the ACP leaders.

Also, sometime in June we’ll be holding another Senate elections and the sign ups will be near the first week or two of June. I’ve also got some new ideas/updates for the Senate I’d like to get your opinions on. So enough chat, the times. Oh one more thing, you might notice the meeting is THIS Thursday. This reason being I’m not going to be able to come online from Friday – Sunday, so to be able to come I’ll need to be on Thursday. Ohhhh and by the way, I call making the Memorial Day post, even if it’s a few days early.

2.) Senate Updates: June

Okay, so I know my first idea how I’d run the Senate was a bit sketchy, but you have to give me credit it all worked out and held together for the most part. This time we’ll try something new. Maybe it’ll work out. Might as well try. I’ve gotten some ideas from some ACP moderators. Now nothing is set in stone so don’t worry. Our first idea is from Jcapp. It seems we didn’t have enough Senate meetings over the months since it restarted, and he’s right. So this idea is a very basic. We’ll have two Senate meetings a month instead of one. Jcapp wanted to have 1 every week but I just find that too many to keep track of and too little time for everyone to work out the bugs in their bills. The second idea is to keep our number of Senators down, we have around 25 or 30 Senators and yeah, that is a bit too many so this idea was presented by Chris. Instead of having Senators for each rank we’d have Senators from like 2nd Lieutenant to General..

The 2nd idea would keep down the number of Senators we have and make it so we have more soldiers with experience and get some practical bills that we can actually make happen. So do you like these ideas? Vote in the poll below…
