Hai ACP,

During these tough times, we all need sometime to cheer up. By the way if you are wondering why Mch and Slider are posting event posts, it is because I let them and specifically Slider whom I let post the defenses. I will get some more invasions up. The SWAT and ACP will not be invading each other for the time being. So here is the story, continued.

So let’s recap. After blowing up some LT bridges, Foldez and his platoon escape pursued by LT hoards.

The night was getting ever so darker. Although the LT’s artillery bombardment stopped, the LT troops were still pursuing them and they were gaining on Foldez’s squad. Moving closer and closer. Soon they can hear the shouts of LT soldiers behind them. Realizing there was going to be no way out, he ordered everyone to take up defensive positions. Machine gunners set up near fallen logs concealed by some brush while snipers hid in the dense vegetation. Many dug makeshift trenches and everyone prepared for the incoming onslaught Foldez radioed some ACP air support to give them a lift but they are estimated to arrive in one hour. The LT were fast approaching. Foldez calculated they would be here in just 15 minutes. He ordered everyone to keep silent and get ready for the incoming attack. Luckily the LT are not very smart and walked right into the platoon of ACP troops. 10 of them were instantly killed or wounded. But there were still more than 100 or so of them coming. The machine guns took out the next 5-10 that were just about to draw their weapons. Finally when the LT just realized what happened, they finally opened fire, wounding several ACP troops.

Foldez was hit in the wrist by a small caliber bullet but that did not hinder his fighting ability by much. He immediately drew his pistol and fire several shots killing 2 LT troops. He proceeded to order some troops to fall back to setup another fortification. They were covered by the machine guns.  All the troops in the platoon were fighting incredibly hard, making use of all their ammunition and almost not even wasting a single round, with the exception of the machine guns that were just spraying everything around. Finally everyone was ordered to fallback to the new position that was created. Here, they did it all over again for another 15 minutes. “Although the LT might be stupid they certainly got loads of troops to send to their deaths” one corporal said, as he fired his rifle.

Bullets were ricocheting everywhere. The platoon was going to run out of ammunition soon. After a talk with his troops, the ACP diehard fighting spirit prevails and surrendering to the LT, an army full of evil and hate, was not an option. Foldez ordered all the troops to fix bayonets. Everyone knew what this meant. This was going to be a suicidal charge into masses of LT troops.  Running away is not an option for a ACP troop says Foldez, so we will either win or die trying. Suddenly a flight of ACP helicopters appeared and began firing rockets and other advanced weaponry at the LT. They were going to be saved but this isn’t over yet. Some ACP troops grabbed some of the weapons from the dead or dying ACP troops, The number of LT troops were miraculously decreasing and everyone knew it. Foldez with only his last magazine of pistol ammunition loaded it in and went to carry back a wounded ACP survivor. Just then a LT officer who appeared to be the one leading these LT troops came. Foldez quickly shot him just as he was about to pull the pin if his grenade. Foldez also crawled and stayed low to the floor amid the gunfire.  He recovered the officer’s sidearm as a souvenir. “Cheap LT pistols are good collectibles these days” Foldez remarked. He carried the wounded troop back where a medic can treat him. He continued to rescue the wounded while hastily giving precise orders to his troops. There was only 5 minutes left till he was going to receive some back up. He ordered the ACP troops to fall back once more and follow him as he heard the sounds of ACP helicopters approaching. Demoralized, because of the death of their commanding officer, some LT retreated while others still actively resisted firing off whatever weapons they had. The helicopters arrived to pick them up and carry them off back to ACP territory. Their harsh ordeal was now over.
