Army of Club Penguin

Hello ACP!

We’ve just entered the month of March, and it’s arguably one of the most important time of the year for ACP. It used to be even bigger before 2010, but Club Penguin ended the St. Patricks day party. Why is this month so important for us you ask (HINT: Ask why.) because, March is known to many as the month of green! Being the best know green army we’ve got an advantage over most other armies in recruiting, at least for March and possibly April. This is one of the times of the year where we need to go double time on recruiting. All you need to do is go on a populated ACP server and recruit for 20 minutes or so, recruiting with a friend makes it more enjoyable and make the time go by faster (You like it fast, no?)

So far we’ve had a quite start to the month. A few tactic sessions and a bit of recruiting. We even played hide and seek yesterday! Kenneth and Flipper with your help decided we’d take it kinda slow this month, but that doesn’t make it any less important! St. Patrick’s day falls on a Saturday this year, so I thought about it for a bit and decided I’d hold a chat rally, I don’t wanna give too much information away yet, but we might have some giveaways and for sure we’ll be on cp chilling and having some fun to celebrate the almighty ACP! But it seems I’ve gotten off topic D: so lets get back to recruiting…

This is the month we stand out the most, the month we can really rise in sizes if everyone puts in enough effort. I realize recruiting isn’t the most thrilling job of an ACP soldier but we’re all in the same boat. Most of our events are lead by owners but this is your time to show us your skills (because we all know you got skillz) and try to lead your own group of ACP (thats if they cooperate :lol:) in recruiting. But in the event that you do decide the lead an unscheduled recruiting I have a few tips for the less experienced soldiers…

• Don’t use emotes and joke bombs
  Keep away from these as they scare away recruits, only use recruiting phrases.
  
• You won’t probably have 20 or so soldiers if you’re not an owner so formations aren’t really required, you can try making a line but recruiting in a line isn’t much more effective.
• Don’t try to switch rooms, just stick with the town, if it’s a popular server there should be a big amount of penguins in the town.
• Don’t attack trolling penguins.
  It can be tempting but most penguins would either get scared away for get the image that we’re an ‘evil army’ and refuse to join and can even scare recruits away in some circumstances. (Don’t you hate dem trolls?)
  
• Stay off from servers we don’t own.
  Don’t recruit on another army’s servers, it can make them angry and the owners would have to answer to them. Find our complete list of servers at our nations page HERE.
  
• Remember to be in uniform and be GREEN!
  At any ACP event it’s required everyone wears the uniform.
  

I’m sure you’ve heard about the member’s uniform? We still haven’t look at the really outdated member uniform. It’s a really old item with items from 2008/2009 and I don’t even think any one of our nonmembers has those items anymore. Thats why I came up with an idea for a new nonmember uniform…

The background and pin aren’t part of it, but the picture looks better with a background amiright? The green hoodie is always available and is unlockable with the code D23EXP11. As for the green helmet, it’s a fairly new head item from August and the glasses are always available, you just need to complete an EPF mission to get them. This isn’t the official nonmember uniform (at least yet) it’s just to give you an idea about what it might look like. What should be added and/or removed to make it better?
