Recently I had been looking at a promotions post from when I was a noob in ACP (which wasn’t too long ago actually) It was from March 2010. I decided to compare the numbers of people on ranks from now and then. I saw a massive decline in numbers, what happened to us that made that happen in the space of a year? Was it the people who weren’t bothered to even go on CP and recruit? The fact that CP blocked words needed for recruiting? I’m not sure, but what I do see is that when we are on CP (unschedualed events) people make these lame excuses for not coming, such as, “I just woke up, I don’t feel like going on CP” that one is the one I hear most, just answer this, If your too tired to go on CP, why are you on chat?
Another thing is mods saying that they “don’t have enough power”. Yes, yes you guys do have enough power, would you guys prefer it if members were guests, mods were members and owners were mods? Then you will understand how much power you actually have in the end. That’s what it used to be like when Oagal was leader, so just respect it. You guys also say that you never get a chance to lead, yes you do, you get a chance every single day actually. Mods have the power to hold unscheduled events, so yes, you do have a chance to lead, you have it all the time. Some of you will probably make up an excuse that “The owners would take over when they come on”. Not true, if it’s an unscheduled event, and you called everyone on first. You’re the one in charge of that event, not the owners, just as long as you do it on Our own servers. Mods, take an advantage of the power you actually have, and use it.
Here is a simple guide of what you can do with your power in ACP (it is important that everyone should click read more, this goes for everyone in ACP)
Corporal-Colonel// You guys should go on Club Penguin regularly and recruit, either on your own, or with a few friends you have, I’d recommend that you make it up to the higher ranks to hold an actual event. Remember to make sure that you be on ACP servers Only!! If you see an army on an ACP server that is not allies with us, Private Chat a moderator or Owner before you command everyone to go on that server. For more information on ACP servers check the ACP nations page. (Also I am still aware that Lt.Colonel and above are the higher member ranks, but you should still listen to what I’ve typed down)
Brigadier General- General // You guys should also go on Club Penguin regularly, no excuses, you guys know that the purpose of Army of Club Penguin is to be on CP, if you can go on Chat, then you can go on CP. At these ranks you can hold unscheduled events and get some people on CP and Recruit. Only the person who made the first command to get on CP decides who leads with them, the owners won’t take over unless it is scheduled.
DivisionGeneral // You guys are the leaders in training, by now you know practically everything that’s going on, to prove your leadership skills your each assigned a Division, that I recommend that everyone in ACP should join one. It’s your job to keep your Division Active to prove you’re able to be a leader in ACP, you guys should even hold Recruiting events, you’d help ACP as well as your Division! Keep your Division active all the time if you want to be an ACP leader.

Remember that when recruiting, take pictures, it will help you towards a promotion press the Prt Sc button to take pictures,open up paint and paste the picture,save it then upload to tinypic.com (this is free and does not require a registration, remember to save the picture in PNG format)

Another problem is xats,powers and Days, if you care so much about them then there’s no point on being on a Club Penguin Army Chat, if your so obsessed then go to some powers chat. Anyone scamming on chat will be Guest/Banned. There have been so many posts like this before and a lot of you guys just won’t listen, if you don’t start actually going on CP anytime soon, then I will keep on making posts like this until you do. If you’ve actually read this far, make a comment. You should all recruit at least once a day on an ACP Server, make sure to go on a server with at least 3 bars.
To see what I meant about acp being huge here is the link to that promotions post from last year –> Click Here If you looked at that, you’ll agree with me on the massive difference on the ranks between now and then, we can be as big as we were then if YOU follow the guide I’ve given you and recruit on CP, I’m disappointed on how much people are even bothered to turn up at events, you know we can do better yourself, if you are retired and you’re on chat during a scheduled event, then get on CP, don’t be complaining by saying “But I’m retired, I won’t go on” If you were retired from ACP then why did you even bother going on chat? Some of you would be like “Just to say hi” but there are retired people on every day and “just to say hi” isn’t and excuse for them.
I sometimes come on chat and see mods breaking rules a lot, you guys are here to ENFORCE the rules, not abuse them. Set a good example for the members, breaking rules will end up with you losing your modship or being banned. What I’m trying to say in this post is for you all to make an effort in this army, stay active and be on CP recruiting at least once a day. If we stay by that plan, we will gradually get numbers close to what we had then, it’s not gonna happen if you don’t go on CP and don’t bother, if you’re gonna have that attitude then don’t be in the Army of CLUB PENGUIN, just remember why we all joined, to go on CP and have fun. We join ACP with all this enthusiasm and it all practically goes down the drain, keep on thinking this is why we you joined ACP in the first place.

Mods are never suppose to have more powers then owners. They can’t just overthrow a 2ic or something. If there is a problem all the Leaders and Retired Leaders will discuss it, but the Leaders will make the decisions.

If the mods want to lead then get them on Club Penguin, show some initiative, and stop complaining about how “you can’t lead”.

haha back in my day everyone was a guest no members on chat only 8 mods and 2 owners and we were fine because hardly anyone had power and the people that had power actualy were not lazy and used it for good and to help ACP compared to now once you get mod it seems everyone gets lazy and doesnt care because they now hold power and don’t care

My prnt sec button also says home on it and whenever I want to take a pic I press prnt sec and when I’m trying to paste it it doesnt work. Please help!

Good post. I agree we can do better. We are the ACP, the greatest CP army around. March on! 🙂
When I joined ACP in August 2008, rarely anybody was subscribed to xat. In my opinion all armies standards have dropped this year but it has been worst, December 2009 was the darkest era in CP armies, CP armies will rise again like always.

Even though I left Acp a few months ago, I have to say, everyone are starting to act like lazy bums. I am just suggesting something here when I say that, the non – active troops, could be enemies using their names. If you guys don’t want to have your identities stolen, then stay active.

That’s great that you patrol, but what I’m trying to say is that we have so much people who don’t either! Don’t worry, if you stay active in ACP, you’ll get promoted, I’m sure you’ll get a promotion for being active like that! (promotions are once a month at the start of the month)

I think that we have a massive decline in numbers on the ranks page because we just have an active count only a few months ago, and when you might’ve looked at them, we had an active count more months (or a year) than blah. So, we had more time to get more people on the ranks page previous to the ranks page today. However, most of the people on the ranks page are inactive. If we had EVERYONE active, the Corporals and Sergeants alone could fight the Nachos and win (as long as they have a good leader). So, blah.

To be honnest, Why not just Superkick over to the next chat?
That will get their atention, and or even threaton to guest them from the Chat if they don’t get on cp?

I would put them in place if i was a mod or owner, but for one,
I can not use xat.com effectly, and my lack of vision will prevent me from Accurately monitoring chat, and being able to Guest their butts for a while tell they go and get on cp.
If I had no use for my Screen reader on my computer, and was not blind, I would be a Guest happy Idiot! 😛
If these Solders want tough love, I say we give them the tough love they want….
Maybe even take them through the Collander and drain the slackers out of this army….
Maybe even some Court Marshals to punnish the low lives who slack off, and just join to be a Modorator.
