To all leader ranks: I’m going to make a private post that will have every rank eligible for Senate on it. If you guys could help me out and add all the names of the people that apply for Senate in their correct rank spots, it would be appreciated, as it will be easier for me to look over the names, find their comments, and decide who the ten people from each rank to be in the actual elections will be. Thank you. And please do not unsticky this post, as it will need to be up until next Sunday at 1:00 PM EST.
Alright, now that we have the basis of the Senate out, it’s time to start the election process. Yay. The Senate elections are open for any soldier in the Army of Club Penguin in the ranks of Corporal to Field Marshal. People that are not in the ACP currently need not apply. The application process is pretty straightforward. Basically, all you have to do is fill out your Club Penguin username, your rank in ACP, and write a paragraph or two about why you think you should be a Senator and maybe some examples of bills you would like to propose. Put it in a comment at the bottom of this post.

I think I should be in the Senate because I have a good amount of experience (two years of being in and around ACP), know the workings of the legislative system of the ACP, and I think I have some great ideas for the Senate that could prove useful to the ACP. In my time as a soldier of the ACP, I ran for Senator every chance I got, the first time being roughly three weeks after joining, the last the day before I became Third in Command. The only time I actually was elected into Senate was that time where I spent 23 hours in it before getting third in command and becoming an honorary member of Senate. I’d consider myself to be one of the more knowledgable people affiliated with the ACP these days, and I think that will go a long way in the Senate, where it has, in the past, been run differently than it was intended to be run, and I hope I can help bring a good legislative system back to the ACP.
Basically, you fill out this form in a comment, and I (the Senate President) and Jack (Senate Vice President) will decide the top ten people from each rank to move on to the election round. Please, I would like at least ten people from each rank to apply (hopefully that won’t be a problem) A warning to all: Just because you apply to run for Senate does not mean you will be in the elections. I am looking to cut down the number of people in the elections to 10 or less from each rank.
These applications will be open approximately seven days for anyone in the ACP to apply. After the seventh day, no more comments will be approved and the applications will be closed. Let the applications begin!

Why I think I should be a Senator: I believe I should be an Army Of Club Penguin senator for three main reasons.
1) Because I promise better Bills that will definately help with Major issues from YOU, the soldiers.]
2) Because I am well known throughout the army and have a lot of experience in Club Penguin warfare and have noticed the issues that many people complain about.
3) Because I believe this army needs somebody experienced, reasonably well known and politically correct in their government.

I think I should be in the senate because I have a good amount of experience, I believe in new political ideals, and I’m an overall great person to work with.
I have many ideas that would work with the senate to make the meetings a nice experience to new and old soldiers. I always had the “talking stick” idea in mind; but it never passed through weirdly. The “talking stick” is given to each person on chat who would like to talk (bills, ideas, ect.) and no one else could interuppt without the “talking stick” The leader of the meeting (Klug in this case) would give the “response stick” to those who would like to respond to it (in a kind and respectful way, of course).
Some new bills I would like to put out is the No Excessive Raiding bill. It would work like this: No army could raid more than 10 servers in 1 week (senate could determine the amount/time if not good) and if they did, they would get a penalty (again, senate will determine the penalty).
My political ideals are that every government has the chance to bring out bills to each and every army. I think the senate could determine military things too such as tactics, wars (such as the No Excessive Raiding bill), ect.
Lastly, I think I am an applicable senate candidate because I have the overall things a senator needs. Leadership skills, political and military ideals, and a general idea of how the senate runs. I have been in senate once (a year ago) and it was a wonderful experience! If I could get into senate again, it would be fantastic.

Reason:I would like to be a senator in ACP because I would like to propose a list of requirements for being promoted example.
Requirements for promotion from corporol up be on chat for 5 minutes each day for 3 days an make 3 events.
Give each rank rights and moderator rights for members the right to not get bossed around except for battles commands from leader. For moderaters kick only for the first 2 ranks then they can ban for 1 hour after each rank they can ban for a bit more and get more command.
A most improved Corporol award a reward for all those new hard working soldiers.The reward they get to lead a tactic or recruiting session.

I should be in the Senate because I have natural leadership skills. I am a patrol leader of the Boy Scouts, and a very good one at that. According to everyone at my school that is my friend, I am naturally a leader. Also, I am a 6-month veteran of CP armies. I am a Sergeant of AR, a Brigader General of CPC, a VP of CPAHO, Leader of The CP Brigade, Reporter of CPAC, a 2ic of the Black Rebels, a retired Brigader of WW, and, of course, a Colonel of ACP. 3. Well, I am Antant98. Some of you may know me, some of you not. I should be in the Senate because I always report for duty and for wars. I joined ACP last year in May. From there i got my rank Corporal. I worked so hard to go up and here is my rank now: Brigadier General. I always come to all the events and wars. I will do that when I am a Senator. Also I am not that mean to people. When I joined Senator I didn’t make it. I always dreamed my jobs in ACP. First Senator and then in ACPTR. I am always responsible. Last year I did not make it to some of the battles or other events because I have a lot of tests and quizes. But that is only few, not a lot that I missed. I always think of ACP in school, home, and any where else i am in. I always manage my time such as homework, quizes and tests. First thing when I come from school is do my homework and after that I study for my tests and quizes. Then i go on ACP chat and relax or i go for ACP events. That is my same routine on weekends and when there is a holiday from school. Also I am smart. Right noe I am in seventh grade. I am in Algebra 1 and that is the highest for my grade. Also I am in enrichment for reading and writing. I will do my best for making bills and sending them out as soon as possible and I will try to make it pass. I will be most likely the best candidate for the ACP Senate. Thats why I make it to so many ACP battle and events. I should be in the Senate for all these reasons. Determination, power, get it done attitude. All what makes ACP the army it is. To be a great army, we need to have good officials. I am a experienced trooper, with a year and a half of experience. I joined ACP in 5th grade. I’m in 7th grade now. Im in 10 other armies, and mod in 2, nearly mod in 4, and a owner in 4. I have ran for senate before, and I am really hoping I can help ACP another way than just coming to events. If you vote for the right people, then we may very well last for years to come. Who knows, maybe CP will end before we are dead. That will only happen though if we pick the right path. I’m the path to go, with all of my well earned friends and ranks. Why you should elect me for the Senate:
Well, I think I would be great help to the senate for multiple reasons. First of all, I have had around a year’s experience around ACP and have learned tons from this experience, which I will stay in for as long as possible!! ;D I have knowledge of the issues that have been arising for some time around the ACP, and I know I can and will make a change to issues that are present and will arise in the future. I am on EVERY day and will always serve ACP whenever I can. I am an experienced soldier and though having been in ACP 4 months, I have been an ACP rouge for 3 years! I hope that I can serve my army and return it to the Boomer ages.

3. I think as senator I would promote having more PB’s so troops now will stay active and recuriting time. I also think post that Noka made made me think we have great leaders now and all but if we do not have many PB and other activitys people wont check the ACP site as much and if we have like a 24 hour notice for a battle we might even lose! And that is only one of the many ways ACP could go into dark ages. How ever if we can do somthing to stop it in the long run and grow the army at the same time we are killing two birds with one stone.

I believe that I should be a part of the senate because I have an extensive history with ACP. Not only have I been associated with ACP since November 2007, but I have also proved myself more than capable of creating and running my own army (SSACP). Being a little bit older than most ACP members, I have a greater knowledge of politics and senatorial procedures. I’ve taken law classes in school and consider myself well professed in both the content and the affiliation. Also, when I first joined ACP in ’07, I was promoted to the rank of General in just over a month. Since then I’ve fought in numerous wars and been with ACP through countless social conflicts. I know the complete in’s and outs of this army. I’ve been here since Oagalthorp was leader and I have witnessed, in many cases firsthand, how each and every leader has acted, and I have also witnessed how ACP’s laws and rules have worked. I’ve never actually been part of the ACP senate, however every senate that I’ve witnessed before has been utter fail. So I hope that for this senate veterans who actually know what they’re talking about are chosen, rather than noobs who only want a higher rank. I believe I am the person to take ACP forward. I have already dedicated the last 2 years of my CP army career to ACP by retiring from every army and news site I was in. I patrol most of our servers most days. I am so confident that I will one day be Leader of this great army that I have already began to draft my introduction post on a secret website. I have already reached 800 words! Right now ACP is the only army I ever want to be in.
What would I do as a senate:
As I senate of the Army of Club Penguin I would like to make sure everyone gets their say. I would pass everybody ideas on to McHappy and try my hardest to make them happen. I would happily answer any question in PC. I would listen to everyone no matter what rank they may be.

Why i should be a senator: I believe i should be a senator because I have been in ACP since late 2009 which means I have quite a lot of experience, I am leading my army NMA along with Olympus104, NMA are currently number 4 in medium army top 10! This means I have a lot of experience in making decisions and other things like that. I’m a good listener, so I will listen to everyones opinions and ideas, I will help try and improve current ideas and other ideas that people make up. I think I should be in the Senate because I have a lot of experience in CP warfare and Club Penguin in general. I am very interested in government and how things could run better in ACP. When it comes to most things in life I am not usually one sided and I often take time to look at both sides of the argument before expressing my thought or feelings. I have worked my way up the ranks starting as a Corporal in 2007 or 2008 and have worked my way to Brigadier General where I’ve held this postion for maybe a year or so now. Basically I know what its like to wrok my way and I know how it feels to be most of the member rank soldiers. I am a retired Dark Warriors/Legend and I know how it is to run a army and I have learned from mistakes and I believe that I know what is often the best for an army even if it is not the popular decision. I am a very friendly outgoing person that loves to have fun and be serious about certain aspects of life. Why me for Senator?
I have been involved in debate teams many, many times. I listen (not just hear) to what my fellow soldiers say. I try my very best to do what my fellow soldiers want put in place. If they do not like a law, I will try to follow that command. I have been involved in Army Senates for about a year now and I believe I understand what it takes to be a senator. A bill I might propose is just like the post Chase came up with. I will vote to hold better times for GMT soldiers and make sure they get their fair say. I will be the greatest voice for our soldiers for years to come. I have been involved in CP Armies for nearly 4 years and I am proud of it. I know what every soldier wants because I have been in nearly every CP army rank known to man. Another bill I will propose is more contests and parties throughout our army. I know we shouldn’t get cocky but our last party was about 3 months ago. On a last note, not to brag, but I am the President of Leadership at my school, this is the most prestigious honor that can be bestowed upon you at my school. I was specifically chosen for that position because I am a leader and I also listen to what others have to say no matter how outlandish it may be. Why: I have a lot of experience in ACP through out all ranks. Though I don’t log onto CP much, I am always on chat and checking the website for new comments, posts, information etc.. Ive been in ACP for 4 years now (5, if you count 2011 as a full year). Ive seen a lot and I usually am good at solving conflicts no matter the size in an orderly, fair fashion. What I want for ACP is only the best. Listen to lower ranks and higher ranks equally. Take all point of views into opinion, whatever they may be, and make a decision that is fair, not biased because all the higher rank want it. I want ACP to be legislative once again and make sure we stay the best there is. If I were elected to to say, I would propose different things, starting with the most easy and possible. Moderator rankings, Chat rules lowered or hired, and even things like ban times for when it get very intricate. I hope to be on the senate for ACP, and I know I can contribute a lot to this army for the best.

I believe I should be a member of the ACP Senate because of the following reasons: I have been in ACP longer than Boomer, I know how everything works. I have developed relationships with troops and leaders around other armies that will trust me and believe in me, creating a period of peace and prosperity.

Why I should be senator?
Ok, so sure I don’t have a lot of experience, but, as you might know, I’ve learned very quickly.
As I am CPAC reporter, I know what’s going on in the other major armies. When I’m looking for a topic, I take a decision and analyze it.
Because of this, I can see what decisions are generally beneficial, and ones that are, this is the best way to put it, SUCK.
Another reason that I would make a good senator is that I can see armies and people neutrally. Yes, of course, I have personal opinions of people. But, if needed, I can take that aside, look at the situation, and try to come up with a solution.
An example? Take ACP itself. I think ACP is a great army. We’re fun, have great size, and a safe chat that every soldier can enjoy. But we have our flaws also. For example, we greatly neglect our younger and newer troops, creating noobs. We need to fix that somehow. No one shall be neglected here.
And finally, I want to make Club Penguin Warfare better in general.
You might be asking, “How is getting into the Senate beneficial for ALL armies?” Well, look at it this way: We’re the strongest Club Penguin Army. People look up to us. If we could do things that could get rid of flaming and hatred within our own army, the rest could take care of itself. Just imagine a Club Penguin Army World without flaming, insulting, or arguing. I want to work towards that.
Now, don’t get me wrong. I want to make ACP stronger as well. But it would just be nice to think of others for a change.

I’ve been in ACP for over 2 years now, so I’ve got plenty of experience in ACP. Since I’ve been in ACP for quite awhile, I have seen what the flaws and problems are in this army, and as a senator, I would create bills to address them. There was a lot of criticism towards the old senate and they way it worked (one of the problms I talked about earlier), so as a senator I think I could fix those problems.
Another problem with the old senate was that senators only made bills that benefited ACP soldiers and themselves only. I would work on a bigger scale to determine and create bills that would not just benefit ACP and it’s soldiers, but all the armies that were in war with us or allied with us, or just neutral with us. Since we are the biggest and strongest Club Penguin Army, the senate has a very strong position and could greatly influence CP Armies.
I hope you consider me for this extremly important job as senator because I think I’ve got enough experience and some great ideas for the senate.
