It’s time for the annual Division Practice Battle! The last one we had been some time in September, where Echo won with a score of 10, to Alpha’s 3. But since then Alpha has worked hard to get up to an impressive size, and Echo has tried their best to keep their size up. They have had many tactics session, and have had battle’s with various armies, it’s time to see who is the best in 2011! You can see the last Division PB: HERE. Let’s have a look into what divisions are, and what each division does!

Divisions are a part of the army, that can be used in battles to attack the enemy at different strategic points. There are currently two divisions; Echo and Alpha. They act as a separate army, with their own tactics sessions, and battles. Technically, every soldier of the Army of Club Penguin is meant to have a division, be it Echo or Alpha, and they should use divisions as their “Side Job”. They aren’t an official army, but they do have their own join pages, so soldiers can choose with division they want.

Let’s look at what the divisions have been doing the past few weeks.

  • Alpha – Alpha we’re recently re-assigned with a new Field Commander, Noka. They also cut their numbers of division generals in half, from four to two. The current Division General’s are Johny4 and Chase50. They have had a couple of site updates and recently had a tactics session, in which they had strong numbers. They had about ten soldiers, and performed very well, they even encountered a rogue army! Also, they did schedule a raid of Fjord, Nacho’s Capital, but that was cancelled due to the ending of the war. They have had a very solid start to 2011.

  • Echo – Echo recently got a new Field Commander too, Flipper, after he had been promoted to 3ic. Like Alpha too, they now have two Division General’s instead of four. They are: Lillierose and Smartuin. They haven’t been lacking in posts, as Smartuin recently posted a rather inspiring Hello post.. They we’re going to raid Sub Zero, IW’s capital, until the war ended and now they have had to cancel it. They have had a site update with new graphics and have had a good start to 2011 too, but they haven’t had any events yet.

You may have realised that Echo and Alpha had tried to schedule a PB between themselves before, but the timing simply failed. I had a quick vote on chat, and we came to the conclusion to reschedule the PB: The timing had left European soldiers with a battle at Midnight or later, and as a quarter or so of ACP is European, we thought we should reschedule the event, so the divisions could reach their full potential.

I wish good luck to each division! The judges will be whichever owner’s are online at the time of the battle. Both armies should probably get on Club Penguin 30 minutes before the battle, to recruit and get the most soldiers for the battle. If you haven’t got a division and would like one, click on the links that I posted up above, and comment on their join page. If they haven’t got a Join Page comment on their latest post, so they know to add you.

    I believe that I can make it, but I have yet to rejoin a division and I am balanced between the two- I was in alpha for a year, then I became division general and got moved to Echo, then I became 3ic and in charge of alpha again. I’m admin on both sites still…. Whatevs, this battle will help me decide. Let the better division win!

A fact to know you didn’t even check omega site to check our event wich is in 2 days, and congratulations for making our first event get like maximum 10 on cp. Next time give accurate informations, not spreading lies without even knowing.

    Ias: I’m sorry but you had one event and most people didn’t even know if they were in Omega and what the site was, compared to the two years worth of battles Alpha and Echo. You should thank him for saving you from embarrasing defeat.
