Mchappy: I totally agree with Skloop on this one. We’ve had a “Birthday Page” before and it went smoothly for a while until ACP became really big, etc., etc. I would gladly like to make an Edit every day saying “Feliz Cumpleaños ______!” (Did I spell that right, Draggy?)
Skloop: Not that I’m of rank to… “authoritize” ( 😆 ) over you Little, but I think it would be much easier to just restore the old Birthdays page, and allow troops to comment their birthday on there if they want it on there? Then, we could have a text widget that says, “Today’s ACP Birthdays are __________, Happy Birthday!”. Wouldn’t that just be easier?
Little are you gonna incorporate the old ACP birthday list with the new one? Why cant we just bring back the old one if everyone wants it in list form.
Greetings, ACP. I’ve decided that we should bring back the old Birthdays page! This page will list the birthdays of everyone in ACP’s birthday, if they want it put on the page. Now, we have two options. There are ways, through websites, to get a calendar that shows month by month. (it is hard to explain what I mean, but if you are familiar with Gmail, you may know the calendar function… that’s what I mean). We could use one of those calendar widgets to show birthdays, along with ACP events, historic events, international holidays, etc. Or, we can just have a list of birthdays, simply typed out, like this:
January 1st: Soldier1
January 25th: Soldier2
February 16th: Soldier3
March 31st: Soldier4
And so on. I’d like YOUR opinion on which method you would like us to use, so please vote on the poll below!
