Well, today was the Battle of Sub Zero, which was ironically held on Klondike. I don’t understand how you can possibly win a server if you are fighting for it on a completely different server, but whatever.
For about 45 minutes leading up to the battle (which officially started at 2:oo EST), the IW and ACP faced off in the Town. At the beginning, I would say the IW had the upper hand while the ACP tried to get everyone on and into the server to get ready to fight. As we neared the 2 EST start time for the battle, the two sides evened out a bit and we matching each other, charge for charge. At one point, we even saw both the Ice Warriors and the ACP in vertical lines exchanging snowball fire and chanting their armies name for about 10 minutes. A little reminder of the past, that was.
Both sides continued to match each other in every statistic possible after the official start of the battle. Team Gold logged on to help the Ice Warriors and pretty much just ended running around frantically, trying to capture rooms while a small force of ACP followed them step for step. Had TG been maxing more than 7+ at a time, we may have lost the battle, as we were proving to have a hard time fighting both the IW and having enough people keeping up with TG. Fortunately for us, TG had a hard time getting lots of troops on, and we contested them every time they stepped into a room.
After half an hour of fighting, I began to notice a slight decline in the number of IW troops fighting in the Town. The ACP appeared to be gaining the upperhand by 2:45. Eventually, the IW had pretty much scattered all across the Town. They caught us off guard with a big puffle bomb and left to regroup at the Pool. Meanwhile, the ACP had basically finished with TG, who appeared to have stopped fighting all together. We frantically tried to find the IW, and found a group of 5 seemingly attempting to claim the Ice Burg. After quickly clover bombing this group, we discovered the IW were at the pool, regrouped and recharged. The ACP was there instantly, and the whole room erupted in emote bombs, shouting of “ACP!” and “ICE WARRIORS!”. This may have been the best point for the IW to gain the upperhand on the ACP again after leaving the town, but instead they decided to head to the Dojo. The ACP quickly went to the Dojo and fought the IW for roughly five minutes. Afterwards, the IW had seemed to scatter across the server with no real leading anymore. After confirming that there were no more large groups of IW left, the ACP claimed victory.

Overall, I thought this was a hard-fought battle by both sides. Ice Warriors, there were a few times during the battle where I thought you guys were besting us, but the scattering of your troops towards the end really seemed to have hurt your chances.
ACP, overall, you guys did a great job. I was a little uneasy about leading going into this battle, because there has been many instances where soldiers would not listen to me while I was leading. You guys showed a great response to my orders, and our slight size growth in the middle of the battle may have proved to be the reason why we are claiming victory. We definitely did not break any size records, but our sheer determination was the deciding factor in the battle.

Comment if you made it!
