Army of Club Penguin

Today, August 1, 2010, I, Lorenzo Bean, hereby resign from the Army of Club Penguin. It’s been about 6 months since I joined, when Sriv and I were looking for an army to start anew in after our Ice Warriors rebellion. We joined ACP, but after a month or so, Sriv decided to retire and hasn’t really come on much at all since then. I stayed, I was immediately given a good rank since I was friends with Shab. Over the months I fought with ACP in the Red Alliance vs Blue Alliance Wars and all the various wars against Nachos and company. The last battles were the ones against Ice Warriors at the end of July. It’s safe to say that I did experience quite a few important events in ACP. But after this rather short amount of time (compared to the rest of my career), it’s time for me to leave, and here are the 2 reasons why:

• There is no potential for me in ACP. I have climbed the middle-class General rank tier fairly quickly, but I am now at a standstill between Master General and Division General, and it seems like it will take too long for me to reach a real commanding position. My time in Club Penguin armies is limited, the end of my career is about to come into view in the horizon, and I am running out of time to become an influential leader, and unfortunately, again, it will take too long for me to do that in ACP. ACP is already the top army because of their size, so there is little room for improvement here.
• I simply do not fit in with the people here. Most of the time, I am not motivated to go on chat because I only like to talk there if there are people I am comfortable with being around (old friends, etc). This is my own problem however, because I do have trouble moving on from the past. This is also why I don’t try to be a leader when commanders aren’t on, I just won’t be listened to because most of the troops don’t really know me.

As for what army I am going to next, the answer to that would be RPF. There is much work to be done there, certainly a lot more than in ACP. I feel that there is so much more potential for me there, and RPF is one of the two major armies left that I haven’t spent a lot of time in yet (the other one is Nachos, but I’m definitely not going there LOL). I’m not saying that being in ACP has been a waste of my time, but I do believe that I have lingered here too long. I definitely benefited from being here and I do not regret joining. It has reunited me with old friends, which is one of, if not the most joyous thing that could happen to me at this point. Some people I’d like to thank are:

• Shaboomboom: We’ve been friends for a while, although I still don’t remember why I used to hate you xD. Thanks for your advice and assistance while I’ve been in this army, and even when I wasn’t in ACP. You are one of the very few people left in CP armies that I still look up to and truly respect.
• Matre10: Well look at you, all grown up and leader of ACP, haha. It’s great to see how you transitioned from a noob in Golds to your current position.
• Bobcatboy10: Similar to Matre, I hope you become leader someday.
• Djgtjvgyhxgy: I guess our little deal is over now, but you are also one whose judgement I will always trust since you are a seasoned veteran like me. I’ll see you in RPF.
• Stev712: It’s a shame that we were becoming friends just before I have to leave. If only I’d known how much you remind me of my old friends, and how we both think similarly.

I will probably still come to ACP battles and film them because I do feel that it’s necessary to document important wars. I have filmed many of ACP’s battles and they can be found on my Youtube channel at http://youtube.com/user/CrikeyBeanCo

I will also still hang out on the chat at night since that’s been quite nice.
