Nono: Finally found out my editing color, lol. Teal ftw! Anyway, all pages have been updated to reflect the leadership changes occurring due to Boomer’s retirement.
Today, Jan 3rd, is 2 years since the day that Boomer and I joined ACP back in 08. Sadly this is also the day that Boomer retires for the last time. He will not be leader of ACP anymore but there is hope. Replacing Boomer is Dryvit, a strong intelligent soldier with many friends to help and support him. I think we may have a clone of Boomer here ;).
Now my story of Jan 3rd, 2008: 2 years ago I was on mammoth in the dojo fighting the nachos when I met other Acp soldiers. Boomer was among them and soon we decided that Boomer was “First General” aka the one in charge and I was “Second General” aka the second in command. That day I did not know how true that would become because when Boomer became leader, I became his 2ic. We met on chat after both of us had sent an email to Oagal (To join you sent an email back then instead of commenting). And what happened afterward you all know.

NOTE- this is not my retirement speech, i plan to stay in ACP for a while still.
I personally want to thank all of the ACP leaders for making the part of 2009 I was here for exciting and some of the best months of my life. I know that ACP will never die, like the Nachos almost did, or like Golds did, because we have amazing leaders with amazing dedication. I’m glad that I discovered ACP when I did, as I had sunken into a minor teenage depression due to loads of homework every night, pressure from my parents to achieve excellent grades, and no friends. ACP became a beacon in my life for the last month of school after I found the website. Thank you to all the leaders who have made ACP as wonderful as it is now. Happy New Year ACP.
Oh, and congrats Dry, you do have high expectations to meet, but you will be an amazing leader, like last time, and you have awesome soldiers to support you all the way! 😉
Its sad to see you go, Boomer, you were the best leader ACP has ever had. (Oagal doesnt get the ‘best ACP leader’ award in my book because he was the creator, so that makes him great just for making it.) I hope life treats you well, and i sincerely hope that you will come back to chat and just chat with us sometimes. And, if we ever have a horrible dictator (*cough* Meat *cough*) again, i will feel better to know that you can step in if nessecary to over throw that person if our 2ics and 3ics at that time cannot handle it. Thank you for an amazing ACP.
