Saint: I want to have a party… but that’s just me. A lot have us have been workin’ our butts off and i think we need some kind of party/dance. Maybe… we could have a ACP Ball like Head use to do :O. Also, I’m sorry if i have been rude to you on chat. I have been stressed out because i have 2 research projects, with one due next tuesday 8O. Soooo yeah. Here is a poll:

I’m not going to be around today because I’m going to be visiting with relatives and then going to a party, but I want to try to squeeze in a bunch of stuff this week, so I was hoping someone (maybe Saint since she’s the most active) could pick a time that would be good for them, just so we can get on CP and do something.  Whoever does that, it is much appreciated, and I’m sure the soldiers will be happy too.

I am also going to be scheduling a Practice Battle tomorrow.

Now for the new 3rd in Command…

Solraida!!  Congrats!  It was a close call between Sol and Jojo, but I think what gave Sol the edge was that he has been in ACP as long or longer than me.  Jojo on the other hand, has lots of experience with other armies, but we decided to give it to the one who has been in ACP longer.  Sol has been emailing me ideas for ACP for weeks, but I haven’t had time to really do any of them, so now he can hopefully put his ideas to use.  Congrats Sol!

Sorry Jojo, I just didn’t feel right putting someone in a leadership position who has been in ACP for less time than a good portion of the army.  Instead, I would like to offer you a position as Leader/Co-Leader of the ACP Training Regiment (as soon as we get it running again) so you can teach young soldiers what you know about battle tactics.

Feel free to add things to this or post over it, but make sure people know about the 3IC news so they don’t bug you all day 😛 .

Rapidy: I may not have a voice in my opinion, but Solraida has always been widely arragant to me, he’s basically always been treating me like crap. Including the day I quit the ACP. Because of this he has proven himself not worthy of this position because he has been disrespecting myself for no appearant reason. Solraida was one reason why I quit in the first place.

    I personally thought more then just the leaders should’ve voted. I would’ve included the Generals or somebody else. Leaders have a lot less on their mind then trying to see what recruits are better then other ones. The regular soldiers get to see a lot more.

    But “the leaders know best,” as they always say. Good luck Sol…..

    P.S. When do I replace Balloon on the ranks? And Sol, can you put me in a brigade?

    Boomer: The problem with voting on the ACP site is that all the other armies vote too, so it’s basically a popularity contest between who is best known and has the most connections rather than who is the most loyal and will do the best job. Plus, RPF has hacked our polls before…

    Congrats Sol. In my opinion they could not have picked a better candidate. Jojo your time is coming, you are a great asset to this army and every soldier knows it. Time is not your enemy on this one. Sheila, I thought you were already retired. Honest, your never on much, and when you do come on you ignore everyone. I have seen Sol take the time to counsel young recruits on tactics, ethics and how to just have fun. I look forward to serving under Sol for a long time. Good call Boomer and the rest.     Actually I joined acp October 7th 2006 on the mini clip forums as flippers0 boomer, and sheila stop whining you did the same thing when saint got 3ic instead of you, suck it up.

    Why can’t people just say congrats? Why do they have to threaten to retire and name who they really wanted? I honestly thought Sheila was retired. I bet a lot of soldiers did. She is hardly ever on, when she does come on she ignores everyone or yells at them. Congrats Sol, a great choice of a great soldier!

    Boomer I am retiring from acp because I’ve got too much sites to worry about. But awlays keep it up!!! Acp forever! If I ever get a big army, like this one, I’ll be hoping we could ally. I might appear on chat or something like that. Go acp!!

    I’m with Steak and Sheila on this one. Sol is fine and all, but he has barely any experience as a General. I think that Sheila, Seanehawk, or Jojo would be a better choice. The fact that Jojo was offered head of the training regiment is almost an insult to him. Jojo is a very active soldier, and he deserves much better than a position at the head of a very, very inactive part of ACP. I think that we should give a chance at leading anything firs, this is his second role as a leader, and the first one he got just a couple of weeks ago. And to the people who say Sheila is inactive, I have seen Sol on chat only once, and he rarely comments. Sheila comments a ton, and is on chat quite a bit too. I think that Sol needs more time to prove himself before we give him this very high leadership position. But, anyway, I can’t do anything about it, and I have to trust that people who have more experience than me know best. Congrats, Sol. If you think this is a huge insult to Sol, don’t. I have respect for Sol, but it isn’t right for everyone to just follow what a leader says without asking questions. I just ask more questions about Sol because of his inexperience. I hope Boomer considers all of these comments saying that there might be a better choice. If he doesn’t, I’m supportive of my leaders, but I will not think that the best choice was made.

    Actually when you think about it, Boomer as a point. Sol has more experience from Jojo. Jojo is a good guy and all but Sol has a lot of ideas that could be put to use. A lot of you are saying that sheila should be 3ic. Ok, let me ask you this, when was the last time you saw Sheila on chat? and if you did see her, for how long was she on? Sheila is also a worker on the site, she is supposed to be posting news and stuff like that. It’s been months since the last time she posted any news. If its been months of that, imagine how long it would take for her to post anything as 3ic. Sheila is always putting the excuse that she shouldn’t be demoted because she has too much school work. Ok, I have seen Generals that have worked their a$$es off trying be active, sheila hardly ever comes on. Those Generals that have a lot of school work and try to remain active, usually end up getting demoted. Sheila hasnt gotten demoted, no offence sheila, but you hardly do anything. You did this even when saint became 3ic. Sheila isnt 3ic for a reason. This isnt a popularity contest, It’s to see who would be the best decision due to their activities and ideas.

    …..I have been in a leadership position for months, I dont have to be a general.I go on chat every day but I dont have to comment on every post. By the way jingle the only reason Sheila is angry is because she wants the position not because of any dis likes for me, talk about power hungry. And as far as inexperience gos, I have been in the acp longer than any current active member except Hattrick. I joined October 7th 2006 on the miniclip forums. I know what Im doing. I assure all of you that may have doubts in me, I can handle the roles of this position. I was hoping boomer would consider adding me AND Jojo to the spot but it was not my decision ultimately.

    No offense to Sol, he is a good soldier and I congratulate him. But being in ACP for longer should not be how a person is judged. A soldier should be judged on how good of a soldier they are and I think in this catagorey, Jojo takes the cake.

    I’m with Jojo. I find that placing time in an army, ahead of other categories ridiculous.
    Jojo is an active, intelligent, and awesome soldier.
    Ideas?
    Don’t give me ideas now.
    Jojo and Shadow have a whole page of ideas for tactics, he’s came up with much more, non written.
    He’s served as a Head Consulate for 3 months, contributing ideas, and all.
    He’s been extremely loyal and active. He’s always been active, constantly.
    He left a high position in Nachos for the ACP, and made his way up here.
    He contributes in many ways, a pleasure to be around, and more.
    He’s hardworking, and puts his army before his needs.
    He’s probably the first or second person I’d have at my side if anything happened.
    He’s lead in times of actual crisis, not suddenly popped out of no-where.
    I find this appointment to be both, premature, and regrettable.
    It’s not that I do not find Solraider to be a bad soldier, I just find Jojo to be better suited for this position.

    I think thatif you have been more time in a place dosent mean you know it better.I think that it is good that he got the place and I congratulate him for that.But I know that in those ranks there are ppl capable of getting that position.Take Jojo or Shelia for an example,Jojo is a very nice person and knows how to be a leader.Shelia has done a very good job leading my brigade and she is very nice.They both know how to be leaders.You should choose the one that the soldiers know that is a good person.Judging someone by there time somewhere is just rong… Thats just my opinion,no ones opinion will just never be the same…

    @Sol, that is a good suggestion.
    I second it.
    Sol has the ideas and experience as does Jojo. I support Jojo over Sol because of his more. . perhaps. . .”reliableness”. I’m aware of that not being a word, yet I could find no other.

    Know this, If no one really likes me that wouldnt give me the slightest exception to stop trying my hardest at this new position. You can think what you want about me but I stand for you as your new third in command and wont ever stop trying. By the way, higher ranks I advise you not to call our recruits “noobs” because as long as they fight for the same ideals and have the same devotion for this army (if not more) they are your equals and should be treated as such.

    Great. All we need now is a 3IC controversy. I really hate to say this but I have to: Don’t judge a book by its cover. If Sol has been in ACP longer than Jojo WHO CARES? Jojo has high ranks in other armies. He’s a great soldier. The training regiment? After being considered 3IC? Are you crazy? That’s an insult. No offense Boomer but maybe you should talk to a lot more people. Maybe randomly (On Chat) Say who do you think is the best. But that’s like saying “Oh looks like (Insert Name) has been here forever and (Insert Name) has been here shorter. I choose #1!

    All of you should be accepting and Congratulating Sol. Sheila is NEVER on. Im serious, NEVER on. For those people that don’t see sol on chat, then your probably not on at the same time he is or you probably spend little time at all on chat. Sol is a great choice for 3ic. I think with the experience, both Sol and Jojo should be 3ic. I think that they are an even match.

    Also, for those people that say Sheila is active, honestly you havent been in ACP for that long. 🙄 If you were really in ACP for a long time, then you would know why we say she is inactive.
