An Anniversary

Boomer: This is the Anniversary of his retirement, the other 1 or 2 posts were for him leaving CP, but he was already retired…there’s no rule that says when you retire you can’t still visit.  Geez, give the guy a break.  He dedicated almost 2 years to this army.  Anyone who cares that much about ACP shouldn’t be criticized for wanting to help.  If I can make everyone realize what a great leader Oagal was for making ACP the best of the best, I will have done well.

Shab: Okay how can we say that he actually retired on this day when I found atleast 2 or 3 other “last posts” just in the may 2008 archives. I also remember seeing him in october and november. Maybe all of u guys remember the big “party” we had for him XP.

Sorry this is late, I drafted it yesterday and forgot to post it.  He retired on April 1st, 2008 (we all thought he was joking because of the date 🙁 ).

Today is the 1-Year Anniversary of Oagalthorp’s retirement, so I thought it would be nice to pay him respect with a post.  Below is a copy of his CP life story, which he wrote way back in February-March 2007 for the Miniclip Forums.  Sadly, he never gave us an ending, but I’m sure you can fill in some of the details…

Also included is the link to his retirement post, probably the best I’ve ever read…

Oagalthorp’s Life Story, Part II: The Begining of the ACP

I am attempting to tell my story on Club Penguin in a way never before used, except by one other. I will not tell what really happened, at my real house and computer, but I will transfer all information as if it happened in Club Penguin. Each event is actually factual, a code, if you will, to what really happened.

Chapter 1: New Penguins

Oagalthorp was born from a dark blue egg. He was the first born in his family nest. Minutes later Mr Duckman and Mr Duckmann were born, his brothers, who were twins. But Mr Duckman (the first twin born) could not talk, except for a few phrases. This was very depressing. Mr Duckmann (the second) could talk easily, unlike his twin brother. The family was very happy to have three new penguins in there family. Oagalthorp was a dark blue, but later on molted into a black color. Mr DuckmanI was a red color, and Mr DuckmannII was a shade of green. It was a very happy family.

Chapter 2: A Twin Goes Missing

The three brothers were very happy together with their family. But one day a bad army called the CPA, Club Penguin Army (not the ACP) was attacking their server of Wite Out. And being so young, the three boyes were very scared. One day, when they woke up, their parents were gone. They saw marks of snowballs all over the walls, and found a note on the door, in their mother’s handwriting. It said: “Boys, your father and I see CPA soldiers coming up to our igloo. If they somehow capture us, run to the city called Snowfort, USA.” Mr DuckmanI was weeping. He ran out the door, screaming something we couldn’t understand. Oagalthorp yelled “Wait! Stop!” but it was too late. He was gone.

Chapter 3: A Little Surprise

The two left were devestated. Their brother had run away, and they couldn’t catch him. The two were dispondant. Oagalthorp heard a little cracking sound in the corner. “What is that?” he said. “Probably just the igloo. You saw all the snowballs that hit. It could have caused a little crack”. Mr DuckmannII said. But Oagalthorp wasn’t sure. He walked over, and he saw a little pink egg, with tiny cracks in it. “Its an egg!” He exclaimed. Once it all opened, a small pink panguin waddled onto the floor. “Our parents had an egg in here! The stork must have dropped by a little while ago!” Oagal said. Mr DuckmannII, thinking he was so smart, said, everone knows penguin eggs come from an arctic pelecan.” “What ever, we have a new sister! What should we name her?” Oagalthorp remembered what Mr DuckmanI said when he last left. SOme random screes “Yoooheee! We will name her Yoooheee”. “What kind of anme is that?” Mr DuckmannII asked rudely. “You got a better name Duckmann???”. “Yoooheee it is” said the second twin.

Chapter 3: Seperation

Years later, they still lived in one igloo in Wite Out. But another CPA attack was predicted on the news, so they all packed up. Oagalthorp, remembering his mom’s wishes, was to go to Snowfort, USA. But the other two were to go to Frozen UK. So it was settled. There were teary good-byes while Yoooheee and Mr DuckmannI boarded the boat to the city of Frozen. Oagalthorp’s train would be there soon, but in the distance he heard a loud screeching. He looked harder until he saw a flaming snow cat (vehicle) zooming his way. The Wite Out police had busted the engine, so it caught fire. But it still kept coming. It was taking a turn, right for the train station! Oagalthorp didn’t hesitate to pick up a snowball and hurl it at the snow cat, hitting the driver in the face. It screeched to a hault, and Oagalthorp ran up to it. A CPA soldier hopped out and began chucking snowballs at Oagalthorp. He took cover behind a pillar, and picked up another snowball. As the CPA soldier cam closer, Oagalthorp spun around and threw the snow right at the enemy. The CPA troop was knocked on concience, and taken to jail. Finally, Oagalthorp’s train arrived.

Chapter 4: A New Home, A New Job(s)

When he got to Snowfort, he could smell the clean air, a big difference from the poluted White Out air. Now that he was officially on his own, he decided he neede a job. He decided to work as a security guard at the Pizza Parlor. But that job was only 5 coins an hour. So Oagalthorp got another part time job working as a cheff and waiter for the Pizza Parlor. He also got a job as a waiter at the Night Club. But that didn’t pay well at ALL. He quit that for a job at the Coffee shop, serving coffee. Right now he had about 50 coins an hour, a reasonable amount. We worked well att all of his services, but excelled at the security job for the Pizza Parlor.

Chapter 5: Building Talent

The more violence he saw working as a security guard, the more Oagalthorp wanted to help. He met a mysterious man who has no name, only a symbol. He says its the letter after “Z”. But he offered me a job a secagent for the PSA. Of corse I accepted, with my wanting to help Club Penguin. I worked diligently, and even earned two medals later on. But with the decreasing level of graffitists and bad-language users, I decided to take it a step farther. Something that would stop all the violence and robberies. So I took up a job to help stop an organized crime group called the Cod Fathers. I had a new problem to solve, in Mammoth.

Chapter 6: A Beggining of Something

Oagalthorp never got to fight the Cod Fathers. They had been eliminated by a police force. But in Mammoth, he grew to love the place. But there were many riots and robberies. He had to do something! Oagalthorp decided to set up a group to counter-act all of the bad things happening. So, then was the time he thought of something great. Something that could stop all of the violence and illegal snowball throwing.

CHapter 7: Postponed Due to War

But Oagalthorp could not put together his grand scheme yet. Mammoth, and all of Club Penguin was plunged into WWI! The opposing sides were the Red and the Blue. Oagalthorp decided to join the blue, due to its superior base. But many groups and relationships were torn apart. He got a call one day that his very brother, Mr DuckmannII, had allied with the Reds. Oagalthorp was devistated! What if he actually had to fight his own brother? He would not let it happen. He swore to himself that he would never pick up arms against his own brother. He couldn’t.

Chapter 8: Oagalthorps First Battle

Oagalthorp was under the command some Major. They took a long marh, patroling the streets for any Reds. BAM! A snow-rocket hit the side of a tank not to far from Oagalthorp. He quickly took cover behind the damaged tank. He hurled snow as fast as he could at the Red recon squadron. “Ther got away! Follow them!” an officer screamed. We were in hot persui, not at the snowforts. They fired another snow-rocket, just missing an armored snow cat.We moved in, closer and faster. Then the piff of snowballs and crashes of ice were everywhere. The officer unknowingly led them right to the Red base! Evenryone, on both sides, was firing like heck at eachother. Many penguins were down, covered in snow. The fight lasted for hours, but the Blue started to retreat. The Red followed, but was ambushed. The Blues had won!

Chaper 9: The War is Almost Over

At first the Reds grasped the upper hand, but the Blues made a startling comback. With many battles, the war was near over. Both armies at this point were equally matched. The Blue was now invading the Red territory of Frozen UK. The two armies met with full force at the snowforts in Frozen.

Chapter 10: A Sad Victory

The last battle of the war held in Frozen UK, the Reds’ territory. Oagalthorp was positioned at the top fort, witht the rest of the Blue army. In the distance he saw an ocean of red, moving closer. The Commander said: “They are coming! Ready your snowballs!” Everyone was making their ammo, with huge piles of snow forming. They built a snow trench around the fort, and that was were Oagalthorp was posiyioned. The a faint whizz got louder in the sky, followed by a huge snow explosion at the blue fort. Then the sun was blocked out by all the snow and cross fire. Penguins were falling, on both sides. The Reds advanced closer, up the incline of the hill. The Blue took advantage of this, and fired snowballs like crazy. Mean while, the Blue engineres built a short wall around the fort. Not many Reds made it. Then, Oagalthorp saw a farmiliar sight. It was a red penguin he recongised as Mr DuckmannII. He saw a shot fire right at him, and Mr DuckmannII was being pulled into the Blue zone, escorted by soldiers too honorable to kill a penguin once they see the face. Mr DuckmannII asked the Blue soldiers to escort him to Oagalthorp. By the time they reached Oagalthorp, Mr DuckmannII was no more. The battle was over, and the Blues won would would later be known as Penguin WWI.

Chapter 11: Recovering

Now that WWI was over, Oagalthorp had to start all over, his life anew. first he had to find his old bosses, getting the coins he had earned. He then put it together, and restarted his grand scheme. He was to help stop the violence and war in Club penguin, once and for all. he was to make an army, the second in history. He would settle for nothing less than the best. But this army was to fight for good, not evil, like the CPA. But what would it be called? Not CPA, of course. Club Penguin Army would imply that it takes over Club Penguin. Wait, it should mean it helps Club Penguin, fights for it. Army of Club Penguin! It would be the ACP. He created a uniform and set plans for his organization.

Chapter 12: ACP Begins

Oagalthorp had everything planned out. His meetings would have set times and dates, his soldiers would have certain training drills, and they would patrol the cities. Now all he needed were soldiers. He sent in his earnings of his previous jobs and built a small Head Quarters. His first soldier to recruit was a rough yet dedicated soldier names Kooldaiman7, who had earlier been an outlaw but now was on the right side of the law. He instantly worked his way up to general, being one of the first soldiers, along with the ACP’s need to fill in the General positions. And he was superb. Two great Generals followed him, the PWE superstar David Shawn, bringing his faim into the ACP. The other was Gorond, probably the most loyal soldier to serve under Head General Oagalthorp. The ACP was running fine with a steady amount of new recruits coming in. It was all running perfectly smoothly. But the peace didn’t last long. it all ended when Oagalthorp got a letter with no return adress on it, right on his desk.

Chapter 13: Romans

He opened the note, and found a shocking letter, signed by Explorer7777. It read: The Romans will shatter you”. A simple declaration of war. Oagalthorp, shaking, reached for the speaker of the base. The soldiers were just raising the colors. “Attention ACP. We are now at war. We will naw preprair.” Several days of intense training continued. A time period where another fine soldier named Goozgooz, a Colonal, was recruited, along with several more. The Roman Army now almost doubled the ACP’s numbers. But a transmition was recieved at the base, containing important information from the Romans. They planned to attack. General Koolaidman7 picked the location we would cut them off. The ACP brought almost half of there army, suplies, and ammuniton. The ACP was ready for the attack.

Chapter 14: The Battle Heating Up

The ACP was dug in. They were set up in make-shift bunkers and shallow trenches and fowholes. Then a faint clank in the distance was heard. Then the terrifying sounds of armored feet marching. It got louder and louder, sweat dripping from many of the ACP troops, holding their cold weapons, placing there shaking fins over the tempting trigger. At about 100 feet, the first snowball was fired, a Roman sniper made a poor shot aimed for Gorond. Small waves of skirmisher shots were fired, but then Oagalthorp gave the signal. The battle would begin.

Chapter 15: The First and Last Battle

A massive volley of snowballs was fired overhead by the ACP. The Romans’ first few lines were completely demolished, but they were reforming them. the next volloy of artillary fire was given from the ACP, taking out tank-snowcats and humvies. Finally the Romans returned fire. Many of even the weel-hidden ACP soldiers out in front were downed. But the cross fire continued. Oagalthorp decided to have the 1st Batallion andvance, while the 12th Platoon flank them, punching a large enough hole in their lines to place explosives. But in the attack, General Koolaidman7 was captured by the enemy! Oagalthorp tried to find someone to help him, but half his staff was gone and the others were farther up. Oagalthorp cursed himself and ran straitfor Koolaidman7’s cage. He pulled out his snow-pistol and took out Romans that were advancing toward him. He dove into the river ans swam for the enemy shoar. He slowly moved up, camoflauged by bushes and such, and got to the cage. He put to shots into the lock and busted Koolaidman out. They both ran back to their side. The battle raged on for days, but the ACP found themselves victorious. They defeated an army that outnumbered and out gunned them. Victory was theirs!

Chapter 16: Afterwards

The battle was won with many Roman prisoners, about half of which joined the ACP. The Roman leader, Explorer7777, did not come ot the battle, for he feared he could have been taken our. But if he were there, the battle could have been won by the Romans, which was his greatest mistake. His fear and undedication also contributed to the number of former Romans joining the ACP. The heroes of the battle were Oagalthorp, David Shawn, Koolaidman7, Gorond, and Goozgooz would have been, but his Plantoon was delayed and could not make it. Many other ACP soldiers were heroes also. The ACP Medal of Honor, the highest honor in Club Penguin military to this day, was given to Gorond, and Koolaidman7 for there heroic actions in the battle that ended WWII. Ater this vicotory the ACP grew to huge porpotions. This single battle is looked at by some as the greatest accomplishment of the ACP.

Chapter 16: A Short Peace and a Mob

Shortly after the battle Koolaidman7 was hospitalized from the wounds he recieved in battle. He was out of the ACP picture for about a month. Within this time after the battle, many joined in with the ACP. This new, victorious army grew rapidly. But the peace didn’t last long. The notorious Codfathers, the ones Oagalthorp had long before strived to bring to justice, were back. Their new leader, Lambofun, was the head body guard and hitman from the old Codfathers, and one of the few survivors. But the ACP soon learned one of his associates was the ACP General David Shawn! David has mixed feelings, should he go with the ACP and stay loyal and help defeat this new mafia? Or should he join them, and betray his friends at the ACP? Oagalthorp let him stay out of the battle, knowing it was a sensitive area. But David had other ideas. Lambofun had betrayed him, he was going for revenge! The ACP met the Codfathers at the Pizza Parlor, on a patrol. The Codfather and his thugs immediately opened fire at the ACP, which soon returned it. There was a snow-cat chase, screaming through the plaza, until an ACP humvie shot the mafia vehicles. There was a seemingly long battle, the few Codfather thugs against the ACP patrol group. Finally the Codfather and his men retreated. David Shawn was awarded the Medal of Honor for his noble actions.

Chapter 17: A Sad Loss and a Sad Victory

After a five day long stand off and siege, the Codfathers surrendered. As they walked down the buildings exterior stair case, weapons raised above their heads, there was a loud chear. Some ACP soldiers heald their weapons at ease, but were quickly instructed to keep them aimed. The Codfather cam up to Oagalthorp and said something, then walked to David Shawn. He suddendly wrapped his hand cuff chain around David’s nec and flicked out his switch-blade. “NO BODY MOVE!” cried Lambofun. Oagalthorp wispered something into his collar microphone. An ACP suldier came up behind Lambofun and beat him in the back with the butt of his rifle. Lambofun slashed at David’s neck, but was beaten in the back again, and put unconscience. David was sent to the hospital. There they visited Koolaidman7, who they just leared had died. The ACP’s greatest general had died. Luckily, David Shawn made it through…

Chapter 18: A New Generation

Over the next few years the ACP grew again. But there was a new breed of soldiers; a new generation. A generation that Oagalthorp was not to pleased with. They would make false alarm signals and calls, and constantly wentgainst orders. Perhaps the worst was General Nrop, one of the key people corrupting the soldiers. But Oagalthorp would have to live with it, maybe it would just blow over. But it didn’t. There were many traitors who would join, be a bit dedicated, then betray the ACP. After betraying they would be easily defeated by the large army, and would become poor and homeless, and seek another chance in the ACP. The cycle would go on. This is what is later known as the Great Depression of the ACP*.

*This was when all the spam in the ACP started, one of the main reasons was Nrop, who got about 250 posts from his followers in one day. This is the biggest and most immature disappointment the ACP has seen so far.

Chapter 19: Another War *sigh*
To be continued…
