Today is exactly one month from when I became Leader, so I think now is a good time for a progress check. First I will start with the Championship Battle.
Things We Did Well
- Size – A testament to the turnaround ACP has made, as well as the dedication of the individual soldiers
- Charges – Large armies usually do this well, but we need to make it more of a group charge rather than a bunch of individual soldiers charging seconds apart
- Responsiveness – We were generally better at changing rooms and moving quickly throughout the server than we were in the previous two battles
- Chat Directions – Soldiers were able to get on the server quickly despite many time and location changes
Things We Should Work On
- Regrouping – We tend to have trouble regrouping after charges, instead remaining within the enemy line
- Spreading Out – We need to spread out a bit to take up more space, you cannot tell that we are the larger army if we stand on top of each other
- Quick Response to Orders – We need to charge as a group, move as a group, and avoid the other army’s charges quickly and efficiently, this starts with responding quickly to commands made by the leader(s)
Now on to a more personal review, I would like to hear from you, the soldiers, about how ACP has done in the past month. Here is what we have accomplished and what we plan to work on.
What We Have Accomplished
- Ended the Rebellion and Leadership problems
- New Chat
- Successfully Defended the RPF Capital of Tuxedo
- Alliance with CPAF (Club Penguin Air Force)
- The first Governor Elections since May
- Training Regiment restarted after over a month of inactivity
- Strong Alliance with IW
- Christmas Tournament Champions
- The most hits on the ACP site in a one month period since August 2007 when ACP was at its peak (only 4 hits less per day)
- Highest recruitment rate since August ’08, the peak month of the year for ACP of both 2007 and 2008 (averaging exactly 101 hits per day in both cases)
- Most ranked soldiers in ACP’s history
- Some of the highest battle turnout I have ever seen
What Is Still to Be Done
- Start up practice battles and tactic sessions for both high-ranking officers and new recruits
- Get together with IW for some practice sessions and future plans
- Continue to form alliances
- Get SSACP fully up and running
- Fix the blogroll, About the Leader, and RSS
- Whatever else is necessary
Since I am fairly new to the Leadership thing, I would like your opinions on how I and the other leaders have done so far. Since I am here to represent you, your opinions are important too. Please answer the follow polls honestly. Please also comment any questions, critiques, or suggestions you may have on this post. Thanks for the help.

great work by everyone! We all accomplished a lot this year.
Boomer, Jedi, and Shab, you guys are doing great. I said fives for both poles. Our government looks great, we’re winning battles, we’re back on top, and it looks like we might be heading to a new golden age! If you keep doing your part, I’ll keep doing mine!
I think we did well as a army. And u did well Boomer. No need for u to fix anything, the only thing we need to do is rebuild ACP’s reputation, but I say we fixed that when we won the Tournament. Good job ACP!

i think ACP did a superb job in defeating the ice warriors, then again, we are a strong army. And boomer, shab, and jedi also did an exellent job.

Like I’ve said on previous posts, I’m very impressed with what you two in particular have done since you have been in power.
The ‘ What we have accomplished’ list speaks for itself really; lot’s of useful and impressive things have been done since you have been in power, the ones that stand out for me are the protection of the RPF’s capital (still showing our strong alliance even through times of unrest), are very high number of visits and new recruits (even after we came close to falling, we still rise up and carry on) and winning the Christmas Tournament (just show’s that we still pwn 😀 ).
All the leaders (in particular Boomer and Jedi) work as a very strong team, and that is one of the things that has stood out for me, how well you have worked both with the other leaders, and with the ACP recruits and officers.
The changes on the site were welcome, and neccessary and you have done a good job of both clearing up old pages and adding new ones. I don’t really know who does what, but I’m guessing that you all do roughly equal amounts of work; so keep it up. 🙂
You continue to form alliances and strengthen older aliances, which will always be important for the ACP, regardless of the size.
Like you said, I think some of the main projects that should be focused on are reforming the SSACP, continuing to form and strengthen alliances (partciularly with large armies such as the IW), and hosting more practice battles and training sessions for new recruits. Yes, we are doing great now, but there is scope for so much more great work to be done.

Actually Edwadu, you didn’t give the full information. We banned you about 3 times, for approximately 5 seconds each time, plus we explained for each ban that it was only a test, and he wouldn’t be banned for more than about 10 seconds.

Jedi, I gave you a five. You have one of the best minds when it comes to government I’ve ever seen in CP Armies! You really got us going in that category, where we had always kind of been lacking. Also, you’ve made a lot of good decisions, you’ve lead battles. You’re a great leader, so keep up the good work!
I would only consider re-joining ACP if Jedi became Supreme Commander… she’s the only one good enough for the job. She listens to everyone.
Also I preffer Nacho leaders to ACP leaders. Try and talk to an ACP leader and they wont answer unless you tell them a bad word. The Nacho leaders socialise with their troops.

Boomer: This is merely because the Nachos have much fewer people on chat at a single time, it has nothing to do with the leaders. We are always swamped by pcs, but I can understand why you prefer a smaller army because there is often a higher sense of unity. I personally would rather be in a stronger army, but it is ultimately your decision.

Miroos, you’re right in stating that Jedi is a great leader. But listen. Shaboomboom, as co-leader, helped put everyone who needed to be put on, on the ranks. Now the ranks are running smoother than ever. Secondly, Boomer is great at making decisions. It all balances out. Shaboomboom is good at keeping rebellions from starting over people not being on the ranks. Boomer can handle all the decisionmaking that requires deep though (even though the other two are smart, please don’t think that I’m implying that Boomer is smarter than you), and Jedi can handle our government business, like she excells at. And, about socializing with troops, I havn’t seen Boomer, but you can find Jedi and Shab on chat.
Boomer: Actually I update the ranks, but thanks for support how we run things.
And Jedi, if you’re reading this, you still owe me milk chocolate! I’m not crazy, you wont get this unless you were on chat the other day.

Tylo ur right. Boomer is the best when it comes to making decisions, and Shab keeps up wit the ranks. That makes ACP runs smoothily. As long as these two keep doing wat they r doing then ACP wont have another almost civil war and stuff. Boomer-Shab best ACP combination to date.

Thank you Ctar. But don’t forget Jedi’s hand in this. The only thing I would recomend for the government is the Senator Elections. We seem to have forgotten all about those. Everything else looks great. Even the boot camp, or should I call it the training regiment, has started up again. That Christmas Tournament showed us all something. And that’s that no matter what others say, we have to keep going until we reach the top!
Shab:a dork who ruins the army and needs to get a life and the only good thing about him is a active soldier

Leoblue, please do not insult Shab like that. He’s done a lot for this army. Think about even before he was declared leader. And insults can’t hurt a person unless they let them hurt them. So there is no point in insults. And Sheila, they did bring us back from that. So they’re ALL doing a great job.

yeah this is good but i have 2 more problems
1. when people want to join ACP we cant tell them about the site(we neeed to figure out a way to tell them about the site that will be approved by the Mods of cp)
2. When we let noobs in ACP they tart declaring they are leader and then a mini civil war of soldiers starts.
I have one problem.
How did Boomer become leader without an official poll?
Boomer: It was decided by all of the leaders and Co-Leaders. Democracy is nice, but it does not always work (A poll was the reason the whole rebellion thing started because of the controversy of whether Shab won or Jedi was winning a dropped out, etc.). We as leaders did what we could to repair ACP quickly and efficiently before it collapsed completely. And I think we made good choices so far 😉
At this point, polls don’t matter. Boomer’s a great leader, and I can’t see him losing a vote.
I do agree that Jedi would’ve been a great leader too, and she’s done a great job running the government, but we need to accept our new leader and support him.

Why is everyone saying Ankita is such a good leader? Im not attacking her but, if u remember Bigpeng threatened her and she dropped out. We didnt need her as leader when ACP was going through the storm. She would have folded under pressure, wit that being said I dont think Ankita is going to lead ACP, at least not for a while anyway.
