Addressed to the Army of Club Penguin
MAMMOTH, Capital ─ On October 24th, the Army of Club Penguin was announced the second-time champions of the newest edition of Project Conquest a.k.a Blood Bowl. This victory not only marked a great achievement for this army, but the start of a new dawn.
Part 1: The Present
Written by Ugly
The ACP today sees massive changes in its system and dynamic, despite being the #1 army it continues to be a rising force very difficult to bring down. Right after the Legends Cup, some people thought the Army of Club Penguin would be done for, and understandably that is, however that only sparked the mindset that we needed. We would then go to a war we did not ask for in a very difficult state in the army, one thing I tried to keep believing in is that ACP has never ever given up, so why should we?
The war victory definitely gave us the push that we needed. I mean how do you go from losing a tournament to winning the biggest war in CPPS history? I trusted and believed in Roxy’s capabilities and mine as leaders that had and that no matter what it was if we both stuck together then nothing will bring us down, if worked for it we would achieve it. There were times when things were very stressful for both of us, and we undoubtedly disagreed on certain issues. However, I still have immense respect for Roxy because she consistently sought ways to enhance and improve ACP and I embraced and shared that vision alongside her. Things are never going to be easy at the beginning and I had to learn it the hard way, though I can easily say that promoting Roxy into a Commander in Chief is the best decision I’ve ever made in Club Penguin Armies.
Where everyone thought ACP would probably crumble, September has been at the time the best month for ACP in 2024. It was definitely a moment of relief because a lot of armies dropped a lot and seeing ACP smashing it like it’s nothing was honestly a monument not only for me but for everyone I worked with as all the work we have done gave its results in September and helped kickstart the army all over again. This also helped immensely the September 2024 ACPTR, making it the most successful 26 A+ graduates led by Roxy.
Later in October saw the return of the Golden Democratic after being impressed by the ACP that is today, and after that we all made history in Project Conquest again. The huge surge in success felt like it happened overnight, but it was definitely a long time coming. Through the many difficulties and challenges, hard work and effort, sorrow and happiness, I felt as if it all led up to this and I truly believed it was all worth it in the end. I felt as if my job was done and my time had come as ACP will now be set for good and of course in good hands.
A lot of people have also asked about my retirement.
I made my decision regarding retirement before Project Conquest that no matter what the results were I’d hang up the boots, by thinking that my duty was done rather if I could do more for ACP.
. This community has been something that has gotten me through a lot of difficult times in my life, sometimes when I had no one to talk to I felt as if ACP got me back. Even though there have also been moments of sorrow in here, I would never trade the special moments I’ve had in this army for anything else. This army has a special place in my heart and always got me back, I wanna return the favor by continuing to support this army to the fullest and as many ways as I can.
I recognized afterward that I made a mistake. I kept questioning myself that if I could still continue my service as a leader, that ACP is now doing twice as well, and that this is only the beginning process to the success I’ve been working for for the past several months, then why the hell should I retire now?
I had a lot to think about and I talked with many people about my retirement, it felt very weird because for the past 7 months, I pushed my hardest to make ACP at the state that is today. I even told myself and the people that Project Conquest: Blood Bowl would be my last thing as a leader, but I knew what I wanted to do. What I really wanted to say is; that there’s no possible way I can retire now. I will continue my leadership term until the conclusion of the Christmas Chaos, and I assure all of you that I will dedicate my utmost efforts to achieve the trophy.
The Army of Club Penguin is most definitely my last army in Club Penguin Armies, thus I wanna make these last days as memorable and as successful as possible. Mine and Roxy’s ACP leadership were built around long-term work and so now we must continue looking towards a future of long-running success and achievements.
Part 2: The Future
Written by Roxy
The present ACP is undoubtedly the strongest army, showcasing exceptional strength and unity that sets us apart from all the others. After tireless months dedicated to pushing ACP to become the best than we ever have, we successfully achieved this goal together. We were successful in bringing life back to ACP, creating an environment where all our active members can truly consider it their place of comfort and belonging. It was touching when many Veterans, as well as advisors went out of their way to support us during the Solstice war. In this process, an unexpected event took place, where the people from the Golden Democratic Era who expressed their intention not to return in the future made their comeback. This iconic return was definitely an eye-opener, as it was heartwarming to see the Veterans express that the current ACP feels like home again after all these years. It made me wonder if this was truly the happy ending I had been seeking during my time in ACP. Reflecting back on it, the answer is No. Although their return came as a surprise, it contributed to the immense potential that ACP possesses. If you are an Advisor or Veteran reading this, know that I truly appreciate and value your support.
One of the toughest challenges that comes with being at the top is to maintain the position. We do not have any intention of letting that slip away from our fingers. We have the stamina to keep pushing forward, and we have every single one of you supporting us. So what’s holding us back? Absolutely nothing. The future of our army is to maintain our winning streak. We will continue to strive for the best, while upholding our moral ethics in mind. We will ensure that the year ends on a good note, fostering new friendships along the way while also strengthening existing bonds. We look forward to forming new alliances while connecting with our current allies on a deeper level. We’re really eager to maintain healthy relations. The duo leadership will continue to flourish in the final months of the year. Ugly and I share the same vision: winning Christmas Chaos. We look forward to winning this tournament first time in history. The month of December will also mark the opening of ACPTR with a new lesson plan. I am positive that this lesson plan would contribute heavily towards our performance in CC. Rest assured, the final months of this year will go smoothly. We will make sure it goes smoothly no matter the circumstance. One of the common goals that Ugly and I shared was to earn the best army of the year again. These next few months will play a significant role in helping us secure that position. What sets us apart from the others is our capability of being united and stronger together at any challenge thrown to us. We’re excited to achieve these goals with the help of YOU. We will make sure this army is a safe place for you, as long as we have your support. If you are a Higher Command, Moderator or Member, know that you’re loved and cared for. You guys are always going to be our priority before anything else. YOU are the present and the future of our army.
The duo leadership is something I’ll forever cherish during my time in ACP as a whole. Despite our differences, we came together and worked endlessly to ensure ACP remains on top. Our differences in opinions provided us with valuable new perspectives, and we made sure to combine the best of both worlds. Working together with Ugly is definitely the highlight of my year, and I’ll value it forever. I hold a lot of respect and really admire his will to make ACP a safe place for every single individual. His determination is truly commendable. His retirement would mark the end of our duo leadership, and I will be truly sad to see it come to an end. What’s after his retirement? The end of an iconic leadership marks the beginning of a new chapter in leadership. The beginning of 2025 will witness the rise of a triumvirate.
And no I’m not going to retire any time soon. Can y’all calm down with the anti-retirement memes?! Tldr: Go read the entire post.
Part 3: New Age
For the previous three months under Roxy’s and Ugly’s leadership, the Army of Club Penguin saw a massive reignition after a lot of work and challenges. This reignition breathed new life into long-established rituals and shared memories within the army, rekindling the essence of the ACP that so many admired and cherished. This leadership also saw many successes and achievements, winning single-handedly the biggest war of the CPPS era, as well as winning arguably one of the hardest kinds of tournaments by a huge margin.
This long-running spark in the army definitely revitalized the Army of Club Penguin into something very great. Previous leaderships within ACP have always featured prominent figures that are easily memorable and iconic, such as the Golden Democratic, which included CSY, Fatchicken, Cubster, and others. Additionally, the great Triumvirate saw leaders like Calgocubs, Austinfraud, and Coolguy. It is only fitting for this new era to be named.
Starting today, The Army of CP officially introduces the Silver Dawn.
