THE BOT!
My favorite reason:
I was hopeful that the bot would bring about some much needed change to the moderator system. Instead the bot has made the use of moderators nearly useless. It’s also taken away the unique feeling of becoming an ACP moderator for the first time. It’s a great one that I don’t expect some of us to remember anymore. With that said, I’m in high hopes that a combination of the removal of the bot and unmod week will bring about real positive change within the moderator system.
On a side note: Keep the ban pool gone forever.
So what is actually going to happen with the bot is that I will be passing your reasons onto the leaders and Eric and we will be looking them over and discussing alternatives. The bot is still very useful but due to ArcBot’s poor coding, we’re still working to get the (major) kinks out of the system, specifically when it does a false positive punishment. This means we will NOT be unownering it, not just yet.
So, let’s announce the ACTUAL winner of unmod week Feb 2014. The winner, with 13 votes, is……

Congratulations Slider, you have won the grand prize. Normally that would just be humiliation of being the worst mod on ACP chat but given the circumstances I’d like to give you a better present.
Slider, your modship privileges for being a previous 2ic have been nullified and you will remain a member until which time you can demonstrate that you are both mature enough and responsible enough to become a mod again.

Let me specify what “winning unmod week” actually means. It means that person received enough votes to be unmodded for a duration of 3 weeks. For this unmod week the remod day will be the 19th of March. After the 3 weeks those who were unmodded will be remodded and given a week to show that they have learned from their 3 weeks of punishment just in time for another unmod week! (Continuation of unmod week to be determined later).
So, in short, these three guys will be unmodded until the 19th of March!
