Hello ACP,

It has been decided that in Mch’s absence Capncook and Flipmoo will be promoted to temporary leaders. Once Mch returns they will go back to their current ranks. If they continue to be temp leaders for more than a few days I will give them main owner on chat. However, they will not be getting administrator on the site since they are only temp.

They will have full power as temp leaders, other than firing each other. This is to make sure that ACP can still move forward. Capn & Flip, please feel free to do what you believe is the best for ACP, if you are uncertain you are free to ask me for my opinion.

If this lasts for more than a week I will schedule a meeting to discuss how ACP will proceed forward.

      Ikr! There should be an election, not let the retirees decide everything. Besides, didn’t capn screw up last time, and he’s really negative? I’m just sick of watching people who work hard for their rank get taken over by hoppers.

        I actually agree with Funks. I think the 3ic’s would be better leader’s than our current 2ic’s.

    The last time Capn was temp leader… -_- And Flipmoo and Capn are both 3ic’s like Fold said, and armies have 2ic’s in case things like this happen, but this could go well unlike last time. I’m not trying to criticize them, but Flipmoo already leads the Ausians, and Capn..

    For those wondering; “Hey! We have two 2ic’s already who are both UK and US, wouldn’t that solve our problems?” Not really.

    Foldez has been saying she has exams this next week, and seeing as this temp-leadership will hopefully only last for maximum of a week, we didn’t choose her as it would defeat the purpose of trying to create a stableish, working leadership for the next week. Also, she has established herself as “negative” and hardly posts, not someone ideal for a temp-leadership when the proper leader has gone AWOL and the soldiers need someone to rely on.

    Secondly, despite Tori being active and not having exams (of what I know of), we still didn’t really think she would be the best pick for a short term temp-leadership. We felt that Capn had more experience to lead ACP in this urgent time, so we don’t immediately fall because of a lack of a leader. I agree that Tori will be a fantastic leader when the chance arises, but for now because of the best interests we thought Capn was the person to rely on for a quick temporary fix.

    If you are one of the people saying, “we should of had an election!”, this is only temporary, and having an election would waste precious days without a leader and no co-ordination. If Mch confirms he is leaving, which we hope won’t hapen, maybe then there will be an election, but for now we decided it would be quicker and better for retired leaders to decide.

      This is a good comment. Makes sense. I agree with some of the comments that the 2ic’s haven’t been given a chance yet. However, as Flipper stated, this is simply an interim leadership that won’t last more than a week as long as Mchappy comes back.

      In the meanwhile, we need to focus on the important things like bringing the size of the ACP back up and getting divisions established, etc. I’m slightly offended that I have been labeled as negative by the way. As far as I know, I am certainly a positive fellow. After all, in real life I always say “Expect the worst, but hope for the best”. =P
