Hello ACP!

We didn’t get quite enough people signed up for a good election. For many ranks there were only 2-3 people who signed up and we were going to only allow in their rank 2 or 3 people. This isn’t going to become a new thing, when we pick Senators instead of electing them but because of the shortage of signups an elections would be a waste of time and it would be better to just get rolling and even get our first Senate meeting scheduled instead. To better explain what I mean, there was only 1 person who applied to be a senator for the Sergents.

So there you have it, the new senators. One thing I wasn’t looking for is short responses from the higher ranks at the least and I didn’t want to see all this stuff about chat rules and removing them or adding rules. If you weren’t chosen don’t get down on yourself, in 6 months we’ll be having a new election and you might have better luck then. If you did get into the senate start getting ideas together and get some bills ready to present because the first senate meeting of 2012 is scheduled below!

    As for the meeting, it’s in 7 days and I have no set schedule, so I probably will but I don’t know.

    I’m just a little confused.

    33 senators, 17 votes to pass a bill– that’s good.

    Uneven senators. Generals only have one whilst Master Generals have four. That’s not fair because Master Generals could get an easier shot at passing their bill, and killing the General’s (Swimmerboy’s) bill.

    Why did we do it every rank? If I recall from the senate it would be like Corporal to Warrant Officer. I just feel like this is a lot of senators that we’re going to have to keep track off.

    I’m excited to see what the senate will do though.

      Yeah, we used to have ranges, like Corporal-Lt. Colonel (old, old, old ranks system… you remember that though).
