Boomer: Good post Shab, I really miss those days… good to hear from you. I tried to get everyone back on Mammoth by de-neutralizing it with the Army Council, but the fact that it’s always full makes it near impossible…

I was looking thru my photobucket today when I stumbled upon something from the day I joined acp. It was a picture of Boomer and I. This picture was in the old dojo. It was of soldiers having fun :O. FUN you say? “Impossible. We can’t have fun without a practice war.” What we said in the picture is of no importance. Its what we were doing.
We were attacking the nachos simply because…they weren’t green and they were the only other army there. Mammoth used to be the main headquarters. We took that away because “It was noob infested” Guess what. It was always noob infested. Thats how we got recruits, had big fights, and had fun. Everyone would go there and be at the dojo. There was almost always a fight!!! Now its all about the chats.
True Mammoth is usually full but think about this. It used to be first on the page of servers. FIRST!! I remember convos between Boomer and I in those days. We would get home and go right on the comp because that was the only way we could get onto mammoth before it was full, us two being non-members.
I’m not gonna restate all this “back to the old days” crap. But I think that we should actually be able to answer a soldier who comes on chat and asks “what server is everyone on” instead of yelling at him or her for being a noob. This responsibility starts at the leaders level but also for all the high ranks and mods. Don’t force soldiers to go on but tell them what you are doing and how much fun it is.
