Happy July, ACP! Hope everyone had an amazing pride month! Here in ACP, our celebrations got off to a late start but we could not go without honoring this yearly occasion! It is important to appreciate how our army is full of people from all over the world who have different identities and backgrounds. We are fortunate to be able to come together in one place to share the same love of a game we enjoyed growing up and finding community in, even if it’s your first time ever playing! Let’s dive into how we celebrated our incredible community this past month! .☘︎ ݁˖

[US] Capture the O’Berry

Greetings sports fans of the ACP! We’re back with another divisional matchup between Alpha and Echo. Echo is entering today’s event seeking their first win after having a tough year facing Alpha thus far. Approaching Club Penguin Journey with their larger than life sized puffle costumes the two divisions met in Tour HQ. Here we can see both sides executing tactics and formations with ease as they anticipate the match to come. The rivals move into The Lookout where the final emotes and taunts are thrown. The moment everyone had been waiting for arrived, the games began…
Welcome to Capture the O’berry, a twist on the classic game of Capture the Flag! There are two O’berries and a Templar hidden throughout Sleet and three troops from each division must find them.
Round 1, we see Anne, Stonebull and Tylore send in screenshots confirming to have found all three before Alpha even had a chance. Score is 1-0 Echo. Before Round 2 was counted down, Dreamlucas from Echo false started and was disqualified. The round begins and Queen Kay found one and Punchappy found one BUT Punchappy was participating for Echo while being enlisted as Alpha resulting in this round being nulled. Third time’s the charm?! Round 2 is underway once again and Jomm locates two of the flags to score another point for Echo. The score is 2-0 as we begin Round 3 where one seeker from each division will send screenshots into chat as their team helps them locate the three flags. Echo is relying on Anne while Facu tries to revive Alpha‘s hopes but the effort is short lived as Anne quickly sends in two snaps to set the score at 3-0 Echo. Now for Round 4, the entire division is allowed to go seek as one person from each division is hidden. Sadly for Alpha, Darlin is swarmed by Echo seconds into the round, 4-0.

We press on into Round 5 as the game has yet another change… we now have 3 hiders, Jasper, TyFry & 4nnulet for Alpha and Punchappy (yes, the controversy from Round 2 has returned), BlackStar & Echobloom for Echo. The tension is running high for Alpha, will they have a chance? NOPE! Jomm, Rarity and Qu33ni3 found the three Alpha hiders bringing the score up to 5-0. As time ticks away before the servers restart we prepare for Round 6. Alpha now has Facu, Darlin and Tae hiding for them. On the other side Jomm, Anne and Mosbo are making their best effort to help Echo finish with a sweep. Queen Kay quickly located Facu BUT in a twist of fate for the first time today ElNova found Anne, TyLore found Jomm, and in the final seconds Lia finds Mosbo hiding at the Stage! Alpha finally has a point on the board! But it’s a wrap, final score is 5-1, victory goes to Echo. Congratulations to the Echo division on their first victory since Double Deck the Halls IV! We’ll get them next time Alpha.

[UK] The Great Puffle Parade

YARRRRR ACP!!! On June 1st, our wonderful UK Division hopped on Club Penguin Journey to say our farewells to (what we thought was the end) the Puffle Party! We gathered at SleetSnow Forts, dressed as our beloved fluffballs, and what soon turned into a chaotic but beautiful, colorful puffles group battle. Our parade of puffles visited over 25+ rooms?!?!?! all across the island, making sure we said hello to every puffle in all the decorated rooms. Even visited the Pet Shop where I was kidnapped recruited from. We ended our parade at the Lookout, looking over the party for one last time (it wasn’t). After the event we played “Find the puffle/puffle costume” for some extra clobrs🍀

[US] Foul Ball

Hey ACP! Today, May 21st, we logged on to Club Penguin Journey‘s server Sleet. We came to play ball! We started in the Baseball Stadium and did an upside-down T for T-ball. The formation even looked like a T-ball stand. We then switched to a plus formation, followed by surrounding the room. Dino made us enter an X formation to deliver the greatest tactic that ever was delivered. Afterwards we ran to the Snow Forts. We made a very lucky L dedicated to a very lucky lady. Afterwards, we played baseball with Daniel’s mountain of multilogs. Each of them acted as the bases and we had to run to them, hidden around the island, and back to home base. That lady, Anne, was so lucky she ended up winning round 1. Round 2 was won by Facu. Overall, a good game clean game was played and there were no sore losers to be had!

[AUSIA] Whispers of Japan

Konnichiwa, ACP! Kyou, May 17, is a beautiful day as our AUSIA division travels to Japan for a language lesson! Led by none other than Roxy, we donned our kimonos and gathered in Plaza for some punny jokes. In-between our tactics we were given random facts about Japan and Japanese culture. ᐢ..ᐢ₎ We ventured to Forest as we spread our petals throughout Club Penguin Journey! As we moved to the Mine Shack our tactics became focused on Japanese cuisines, washoku. 𑁍ࠬܓ At the end of our journey there was a trivia session in the Mine to review the material we learned! Thank you to all of our attendees for taking part in our lesson today! 🌸

[US] Birthtae Partae

Hey ACP, there was a taekover as our US troops celebrated my first year in our community on May 13! 🍰We lit Club Penguin Journey with our candles as we reminisced on the past 365 days! ✨
After being superbly photogenic, we played two of my favorite games, 🔍Pixel Game and Find Four. Congratulations to Mamerush, AOL, Chapster, Queen Kay and El Nova on their superior vision being able to locate the origin of the tiny pixels during Pixel Game! When it was time for Find Four, we held a double elimination tournament! Somehow the Guest of Honor swept the competition 5-0, retaining my champion title from our last Find Four tournament! GGs to Queen Kay and El Nova for their efforts throughout the tournament! 🏅
Thank you to everyone that participated! I greatly appreciate every member of the ACP family. I honestly would have never believed I would be in the position that I am in now a year ago. It has been quite the journey and I will forever cherish all of my memories with each and every one of you! Thank you to everyone that has supported me thus far! On to the next one! 🎉

[US] [Operation: MoM] Robotic Trials

US Division Robotic Trials

Receiving transmission… Standby. Greetings, Army of Club Penguin! Upon logging into Club Penguin Journey, on March 25, the US division began feeling strange before being zapped into robots! Starting from the Plaza, the bots booted up to begin taking over Sleet! Being led by a common voice our former penguins began making shapes together and chanting phrases. The voice stated that the group must train to be prepared for the March Madness XI finals! A group of agents took notice of the robotic activity and began plotting how to bring an end to it. The bots moved into the Stage before being rerouted to the Cove. They then continued their operations inside the Mine and finally powered off at the Stadium. Congratulations to all of our troops for surviving the robotic trials!
